the letter z
About
I am the letter z. I am nothing more, nothing less, seldom used in British English dialects of English, but I worked my way into American easily, and now I’m common in -izing words everywhere.
I come at the end of the alphabet and am often forgotten. However, I am derived from a Semitic symbol meaning “weapon”.
