About this blog
I created this blog 4 1/2 years ago out of a desire to tell the truth to the world. Since that time, I experienced a profound conversion to Christianity, the religion that worships the source of all Truth, who is Jesus Christ.
Thanks to the grace of the living Jesus, and my FRiends at Free Republic and others who I can't mention here, I came to discover that the Catholic Church founded by Christ on the Apostle Peter (Matthew 16:18) is the pillar and ground of Truth (1 Timothy 3:15) and the custodian of the deposit of Faith that God revealed to man through His Son, the Word of God made flesh (John 1). I have found the Fountain of Eternal Youth, which I had always thought a romantic myth. It exists, and it subsists within the Catholic Church, the last place I ever thought to look, and in fact I never did think to look on my own; rather, it was given to me, by a series of deep and profound coincidences, many too personal to catalogue.
I stopped writing here around the time of my conversion. I have other, better interests now, and new demands on my time. I also recognize the power of words and I fear that I might use that power for the wrong ends: a word once spoken can never be unsaid.
Some things I've written on this blog, and elsewhere, now embarrass me. I can't stand behind everything I've written.
It amazes me that 7,000 people have visited this site. I pray now for all of you, and for all the subjects of my writings. May the Lord bless you abundantly.
