I don’t have the artistic ability to paint these or the patience’s. If anyone interested in the lot or just one size only I’m will to let them for reasonable price. I have the Gettysburg book. I purchased it in 1969 at our book sale in 3rd grade. It was my second civil war I got. I now have over 500 books. In 1970, I took my first trip to Gettysburg. In May,1974, we took our 7th grade class trip to Gettysburg. Part of the trip was to the Dobbin House to see the diorama. I brought the book with me and my friends and I found the soldiers in the pictures. It was lots of fun. I have now been to Gettysburg 76 times. In 2019, I started doing the 2nd Wisconsin infantry (Iron Brigade). I never had enough time to re-enact being self employed, but I have done lots of programs for different organizations. That little book also started me collecting thousands of toy soldiers (1/72 and 54mm)and the Civil War chess and checkers sets. It’s been a great hobby for over 50 years!
