Laura, I have been thinking nonstop about you, Scott and Zach. When Cari called me after she spoke to you, I was so in shock as I have always thought of Scott as indestructible! He is still indestructible and nothing has ever stopped him throughout his life and the support from you in such a tough work position over all of these years is simply amazing! I know Scott will pull through with great determination and he will have you, Zach at his side along with the huge family clan! I know you are constantly hearing from everyone “what can I do for you”, etc. I know there is one thing I can do and that is pray! I believe God has a reason for everything whether it is good or bad in our life and we will know the result and reason at some point! I thank you for being one strong wife, mother and best friend to your husband and hang in there! I also thank Scott for his dedication in fighting for our Freedom and what he believes in. It takes a special person to do what he does! Love you guys!

Laura,
You both have a great attitude and will get through all of this. I wish I could be there to give Scott a hug and kiss myself but could you and tell him its from Piss Aunt Kathy, that’s what he always called me when we were younger. Probably did that nice term of endearment not to confuse me with KZ.
Love you guys,
Kathy
Jim and Sue –
I was so sorry to hear about your son Scott’s injuries. Please be assured of my prayers for him, for you, and for your whole family. I will send out a group email to the St. Jude Class of ’59 to let them know too.

I am so sorry to hear about Chief Schroeder and the others being wounded. I can only imagine how much Scott being wounded has turned around everything you all thought was going to happen in the near future. Scott is a professional Soldier and great guy to work with. He has the support of many friends and his unit. I am very encouraged to hear about Scott’s good strength and attitude and loving supportive wife and family. I wish Scott and his family the best during this time of recovery and healing.

Hey Lo and Scott – many prayers have been and will continue to come from Nepal. Hope to be useful to you soon. Kelly
Scott and his family (you especially & you son) are in the thoughs and prayers of everyone at Turners. We have been friends of the Schroeders and Marklands since before you kids were born and have suffered through many things with each other but this seems so very heart wrenching. We love all of you and prayers are going out constantly. My brother retired as a full colonel a couple of years ago and is so very thankful that he was able to stay out of harms way the times he was deployed to Nam and other war zones. He said all we can do is hang in there, keep good thoughts and help you in any way possible. Joe Stratton is my son and he forwarded this to me. Please know how loved you all are. So glad you and Jim and Susan and your son have each other their to lean on. May God bless you all.
Hi Laura, Scott and family. Prayers from the Shannon family. Will be glad to see you again and in great spirits. Merry Christmas!
My Prince (Vern Miller) and I (Nancy Lytle) have nothing but admiration for both of you. We were at your fundraiser and I(nancy) wore proudly your T-shirt at and during the Memorial Day Parade. I bless you in our prayers each day….life and God has given you a challenge…We will be praying things get better everyday, If not , just have a drink at the Nook or Turners LOL
