Fri, 08 Apr 2016 13:13:05 +0000https://sassinak.wordpress.com/?p=593#comment-16987[…] Its been almost a month now since we got our gas connection home and started cooking. We’ve invited loads of guests already, and still many more to invite. Noone’s mom could have been as good a teacher on cooking as experience has been. We’ve had our own share of R&D in the cooking arena, and we’ve made our favourites too. […] Click https://twitter.com/moooker1

If you feel your anger escalating, go for a brisk walk or run, or spend some time doing other favorite physical activities. Physical activity stimulates various brain chemicals that can leave you feeling happier and more relaxed than you were before you worked out. ,

Sat, 13 Aug 2011 23:11:33 +0000https://sassinak.wordpress.com/?p=591#comment-16921I wonder if today’s narcissism is an indication of “overwhelm”. Unless a person is in rural nowhere, they are bombarded by endless media calling for their brain to process and mind to catalogue. Labels on clothing, signs on storefronts, graphics on the road, gauges on the dashboard. At some point, we will reach the threshold in common every day life where people’s minds will be overwhelmed to step outside. I think there are many, in the world now, who are inconsiderate because obtusity is how they get through the day. That doesn’t excuse their conduct, I’m just laying this out as a possibility that lends to the explanation for part of what you expressed in this entry.
Additionally, males are definitely quicker to be overwhelmed by sensory assault than females. I believe the usual response for males is to concentrate (center in) upon one aspect which allows the mind to be comfortable in their immediate sphere and the world is happy again.
I do enjoy the way you roll out thoughts and questions in a fluid ramble.

Like fashion and style, how words capture and relay communication is very personal. I believe a person’s talent with words grows in parallel to their evolution. Therefore, the trail of words which has been your legacy is very much like an autobiography for anyone who is/was privy to all of it.
I feel very priveleged by receiving what you have shared with me over the years.

Sat, 04 Dec 2010 16:20:38 +0000https://sassinak.wordpress.com/?p=591#comment-16901My friend, I know all too well and EXACTLY how it feels to have people read what you write only to use it against you while assessing who you are.
For a person that takes the time to think, analyze and then write his/her thoughts- it takes a like mind to understand that it isnt all that you are. Because it takes them an hour to read, days to understand- they think you are what they read, for at least the same amount of THE time. It took them 90% of their brain to comprehend your thoughts, so they assume that you are 90% what you wrote.
It takes less than an hour for me to write all of the writing I will be writing in a day, for the other 23 hours of every day, I am just a regular guy. Intellectuals understand that, not so much do the commoners. It is regretful that people would call me a know-it-all, when I only write about what I know and I do not debate things which I dont. People would rather despise my effort, than be inspired to verify what I write.
A lazy mind becomes paralyzed, and people will criticize you before putting forth any effort to educate themselves or accept any educating. Like the man you are writing about, he chose to form an opinion of you instead of getting to know more about you. This isn’t a man or woman issue- it is a people issue. People are too selfish to care whether you are more than what they see, because they will only see what they want.
