Talks
Scholar Talks
Resident scholars at SAR share their research with the public through the Scholar Colloquia series, presented in person in the historic Dobkin Boardroom and livestreamed on YouTube. And, throughout the year, SAR offers talks, both in-person and livestreamed, by leading anthropologists, archaeologists, authors, and other experts in related fields.
Artist Talks
During their residencies, Native artist fellows at SAR’s Indian Arts Research Center share about their creative practice and how their time at SAR has influenced their work. Often these talks are followed by a behind-the-scenes tour of the Dubin Artist Studio.
Virtual and Livestream
From interactive talks with authors to engaging dialogues with leading scholars on topics supported by SAR’s mission, our ongoing webinar offerings open the world of anthropology, archaeology, and related fields to audiences around the world.
President’s Lectures
SAR’s annual President’s Lecture is held in late spring or early summer and features a nationally recognized leader selected by SAR’s president. This signature event is designed to offer a transformative and thought-provoking experience for attendees.
