Matters which have happened in the past or about to happen in future or anything which has occupied the space in my RAM. The discussion with my inner self which is two fold in itself, one in which i feel i am getting feedback from my inner about the way i’ve been , which is sorta good coz i can avoid some mistakes which i’ve been making in the past n’ improve & the other in which i literally argue(one on one) with my inner self upon matters on which i should be staying away from but eventually they end up occupying the entire space in my mind not allowing any other thought to spawn that time. Its not that i should be trying to avoid those issues, but those issues don’t usually have a solution and something which i usually need to accept without much resistance coz with resistance also i’m gonna end up wasting my time on it with the same or worser results. This argument just seems to take me on the side i don’t belong. Its true that for the mind to stay calm, your mind cannot afford to have even a single negative thought wandering and for which constant motivation is needed. There is a very good quote which says:

‘Motivation is like bathing. That’s why its recommend every day’.

So every time i have a discussion with myself i try not to get into any argument but it just does’nt seem to get off.

waiting materialistically https://santoshvk.wordpress.com/2008/02/17/waiting-materialistically/ https://santoshvk.wordpress.com/2008/02/17/waiting-materialistically/#respond Sat, 16 Feb 2008 21:28:31 +0000 https://santoshvk.wordpress.com/?p=8 There is always a time when you desperately wait for something to change in your life to unlock the illusive paradise behind the corner of your mind, finding your way back to serenity. I waited for one such instance without realizing that even such an imitation would only displace my hopes for finding eternity, not in literal sense eternity, i mean just a feeling which is blissful in all respects. Me waiting desperately for something to change, leads me to be a materialistic being wherein i should’nt have led myself .Was i so careless that i can care for materialistic things and not for my own soul & originality .  There is hardly anyone whom i have’nt seen caught in this vicious cycle. Why do we end up just like how everyone else has ever been, our thoughts always map to someone else’s and so does our illusion of being in this world, that i feel there is hardly anything left within us which we can call ours . Why do we all carry the same illusion as our purpose of being here in this world n eventually believe it. Everything that we ever do is because thats the way everything has ever been. Our goals and thoughts remain so materialistic that we end up just like any other piece waiting to complete the puzzle within ourselves. Being materialistic is’nt bad, its just that in today’s world, thats where our thoughts would always end up. The search for your inner self would never materialize unless you’re never trying to find it. The wait will never be over unless you’re trying to reach there.

Valentine’s Day – Sleep with Windows & wake up with Linux https://santoshvk.wordpress.com/2008/02/15/valentines-day-sleep-with-windows-wake-up-with-linux/ https://santoshvk.wordpress.com/2008/02/15/valentines-day-sleep-with-windows-wake-up-with-linux/#comments Fri, 15 Feb 2008 18:58:14 +0000 https://santoshvk.wordpress.com/?p=7

This is one of the most funniest incident that happened to me recently. I am presently doing my internship in GE, so by the time i get back home i am very tired ,so i just have dinner and hit the sack trying to read a few blogs n’ check mails with me lying down with my lappy. Usually i am so sleepy that i dose of without turning off my lappy, n it ends up in the same state till morning. On that day, the same thing happened and i eventually dosed off without turning it off, it was in win XP when i slept and i happened to get up at around 3 a.m, and i look at the screen and i see my Ubuntu login screen… oh boy was i surprised to such an extent….maybe windows performed an update, restarted and linux being my default bootup OS, took over the control. Just had a feeling as if Windows & Linux had a special valentine… 🙂

Sit in a straight, comfortable chair in a well lit place in front of your computer.

2. Log onto Gtalk and Yahoo M (be sure to go on away!). Check your email.

33. Lie face down on the floor and moan.

34. Punch the wall and break something.

Life in a Frame https://santoshvk.wordpress.com/2008/02/15/life-in-a-frame/ https://santoshvk.wordpress.com/2008/02/15/life-in-a-frame/#comments Fri, 15 Feb 2008 07:49:59 +0000 https://santoshvk.wordpress.com/?p=5 I believe we are want to perform a task, we just pick a frame based on our experience or maybe someone else’s, and transform or rather map our actions based on it, we just do it the way it has been done, with no one ever trying to question oneself about why it has been done this way, I’ve probably seen only a few who even want to think about this or rather think about its sole existence in the first place . We are so engrossed in what has been happening that we believe its probably the needful action, thinking otherwise would lead to being called madness on ones part and I love that madness and i hope one day that madness becomes the mantra in everyone’s life
