Meet The Team
Brandon Croce
Brandon Croce is a contributor across multiple FanSided NHL sites and has been writing about and covering several sports for close to 15 years. He has had his work appear on Bleacher Report, Sports Illustrated, and Scout with radio appearances on ESPN and SiriusXM.
Brian Germinaro
Brian Germinaro is a contributor at Rising Apple and NHL Rover for FanSided. He's been writing and covering sports since 2020. He graduated from Siena College in 2024 with a degree in Sports Communication and Journalism. He also contributes to Belly Up Sports, covering Fantasy Football and Notre Dame Football. As well as co-host the Third and Ten and Belly Up Fantasy podcast.
Daniel Becker
Daniel is a contributor. Currently writing for Sabre Noise and MLS Multiplex. He's had writing featured on Yard barker and the Chatauqua Gazette. He served in the US Air Force Reserves for 5 years.
Nestor Quixtan
Nestor is a professional writer with over 10 years of experience. His work can be found around the NHL network at FanSided. Nestor has a keen sense for the business side of the sporting world.
Scott Rogust
Scott Rogust is a staff writer for FanSided, covering NFL, NHL and professional wrestling. He previously wrote for 12UP and Double G Sports. Scott graduated from Rutgers University-Newark with a major in journalism and minor in biology. He is a New York sports fan who has not felt joy since the Rangers made it to the Stanley Cup Final in 2014. Scott has a vast knowledge of professional wrestling trivia and will understand any reference from "The Simpsons."
Tim Daniels
Tim Daniels is a Site Expert at Sabre Noise. He joined FanSided in July 2025 to continue a 14-year professional writing career that included 12 years as a full-time member of Bleacher Report's Breaking News Team. He's since made several stops as a freelance writer, including Last Word on Sports and Topps within the sports realm. He's covered every major North American sports league along with countless international competitions. He's closely followed each Sabres season since the mid-1990s despite the NHL franchise's recent run of misery. When the Buffalo-area native isn't writing, he's probably still enjoying sports in some way, shape or form.
Zach Jezioro
From 2022-2024, Zach was a contributor with Sabre Noise. In January of 2024, he took over as the site expert for the site until July 2024. After a hiatus, he returned to FanSided as a contributor for the site AudioPhix. Now, Zach is back to being a contributor for Sabre Noise. He has an Associate's degree from Erie Community College in communications and a Bachelor's degree from Hilbert College in digital media and communications. In addition to writing, Zach loves making podcasts and YouTube videos as well as video editing, Photoshop and social media.
