About Me
My stream of consciousness bio looks like this:
California as a child, Japan as a teen, then England, quitting school at age 16. Then after some floundering, a poor choice to get married young, two wonderful babies, predictable heartbreak, lots of therapy, new-found independence, planning, dreaming of college, being scared but trying it anyway, then making it into the nursing program, and graduating in the top of my class (Take that, Fear of Failure!).

All the best
Hey, thanks! I’ve actually seen your blog before, and it’s nice to see you over here!
I stumbled across your blog some time ago and just finished reading from start to finish. I hope this doesn’t come across as weird on paper as it did in my head… Wow… that’s definitely not a good start… in an odd, never met you but feel as though I know you because I essentially read your journal (I think this might actually be getting worse; trust me, I tried thinking of a better way of putting this.. no dice..) kind of way, I’m proud of you. I can’t imagine going through what you have and not being an slobbering, catatonic mess at the end of it. My grandmother would say that you have ‘gumption’. I’m so glad that you had the bravery to allow yourself to find love again, and that although you question yourself sometimes, you have the insight and strength to know your fears and keep going anyway.
Thanks for sharing your story.

I stumbled upon your blog when I desperately googled “my ex husband is marrying my ex best friend” because you can google anything and I’m out of other things to try. I am so happy that, in readin your story, found that my thinking is appropriate for what I’m going through. My 8 year old son and 5 year old daughter came home tonight talking about their visit to the church that their father and his fiancé (my sons god mother and my maid of honor) are going to be married at next year. They took them to a food tasting bla bla bla… I felt my blood boil. I felt the vomit rise in my throat and I felt my fit wrenching. This is my life every other Sunday evening when they come home from their fathers. And so I googled and found you…
Dianalyn: Give me your email address and I’ll get you the info to be able to see the original blog. This blog has been edited to remove the really personal stuff because after a few years, I felt like I wanted to wash all that bad stuff away, in a sense. But I kept all my old posts dealing with the affair and divorce, because I think it can be helpful to people going through similar things. (And I am so, so sorry for what you’re going through. There’s no pain like it.)
I just emailed you. :)
