I am an avid runner who enjoys sharing my love of running with anyone who will listen (or read). Running is only one of my passions. I love God, my family and running, in pretty much that order.
After years of sharing my love for running one person at a time, I thought it would be easier to get more people excited about it by starting a blog. I hope it is useful to you. Please feel free to leave a comment or ask a question. I will help in any way I can.
Happy Running,
Rundad
Thank you for the comment! Is there any way I can get a translated version of your blog? I would love to read it. Good running to you too!

Hi Dan,
Thanks for adding me to your blogroll. I am pretty new to this and am trying to add you as well. I think I did, but I am not sure. Any advice? Thanks again and keep up the running!

On your dashboard, go to Appearance, to the widgets…there should be a blogroll section…that you can add to your side bar. Hope that helps!

That is one of my favorite running pics. We were trying to do the Usain Bolt thing, but it ended up a little off. But she ran a great 5K.

I love the tagline – running for a better life. Great picture – that’s how we should all look on the run (i.e. really, really happy). I’m looking forward to reading about your adventures on the run.

Thank you so much! I hope your past and friends enjoy. I love that we can all share our faith and love of fitness. I think the two go hand in hand. God bless and thanks for the kind words.

As others said…thanks for stopping in and offering words of encouragement. I am just in the beginning stages of starting to run. I’ve done one day and then the rain came…I’ve enjoyed reading your blog (yes, all if it last night and today). Thanks for adding Christ to your more recent posts, that made it even better reading for me. Even more areas to be challenged.

Why wait 2 weeks – start NOW! THen you have two extra weeks to build the foundation. Are you also adding in some fitness/weight training to strengthen your muscles?
Love the blog – I have to work out how I can link your blog to mine – if I may?

Hi Liz, thanks for the comment. I will be running during the 2 weeks, but the official training plan doesn’t start until then. I am just a little slow in getting a base of mile under my belt. Feel free to link my blog in, I always appreciate that.

I checked out your blog and loved it. You have combined two areas that are important in mine and my husbands life as well. I enjoyed reading all your blogs. My husband and I have a church plant -The Gathering Christian Fellowship- in our hometown. We have been in existence almost 2 years but the attendance is not large enough for my husband to get paid. We where both considered elite runners (invited to races). Our children also run I wrote about then in my blog. We have also started out own business in hopes that I could quite my current job and be home more with our children. Hi Rundad!
My company is working with author Bruce Matson concerning his new book: The Race Before Us: A Journey of Running & Faith. This book recounts a personal journey of learning to run while exploring questions of faith that lead Bruce from doubt to faith and to physical as well as spiritual well-being. It’s an amazing story about being unable to run a mile to running the New York City marathon 11 months later, and it’s about an apologetics study featuring his exploration by listening to podcasts by Ravi Zacharias, Tim Keller, and Alistair Begg while stretching 1 and 2 mile runs to 10Ks and 26.2 mile runs. Based upon your own site, we thought you might be interested in Bruce’s story and his book. More information is available at https://www.bhmatson.com.
Please email me if you would like a copy for a book review or I if can assist in any way.
