About Me

My name is Funsize. I was given this nickname due to the fact that I am very tiny (5 feet even), like the Halloween candy. I am in my late 20s, married, and mommy to two boys and one girl; Collin, who is forever missed, his little brother Cooper, and his little sister Jaylynn, who we relish every day with. I am stubborn, a workaholic, and easily distracted by shiny things.

I currently live with my husband Mac D, New Caledonia Crested Gecko Ma and kitty cat Kibi, in San Diego, California. The weather is awesome, the cost to live here is not.

My full time job consists of dealing with angry customers who don’t know how to drive in a safe and respectable way, and get penalized for it. They like to take their anger out on me. This blog allows me to escape all that.

This blog chronicles from the beginning of my engagement to my future husband, to my pregnancy, to my wedding, to the tragic death of my firstborn son due to placenta abruption; two miscarriages afterwards, the birth of our rainbow baby, the birth of our princess, and everything in between. It is a whirlwind for both of us.

In a past life I loved to ride horses. I even owned three. Now I work full time, clean our house and occasionally sleep.

My favorite foods are orange chicken, jalepeno poppers, and french fries. I’m addicted to Dr. Pepper and lemonade (not in the same drink). I like to drink Midori Sours and rum. TGIFridays is my favorite restaurant. I also love watching sleazy tv shows about celebrities and how fabulous their homes are.

I just found your blog through my friend Debbie’s (Loving Rylie, Missing Sophie, Raising Finn). I am thinking of you today. It’s 3:30 pm here (EST) so I’m hoping by now Roly Poly is safe and happy in your arms. Collin is one of the most beautiful babies I’ve ever seen. Really, just beautiful ♥
