Privacy and security often go hand-in-hand, and DoNotSpy11 can enable you to protect your privacy on Windows 10 and Windows 11 without any cost, and it is very easy to use. There is a Pro. version if you want to save a profile to multiple computers.
It offers various categories to choose from where you can protect your privacy:
A lot of people are becoming increasingly concerned about Windows use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) to spy on them. There is an AI category where you can disable Recall and Copilot etc.
You can tick individual entries, or select all of them in one go. I prefer to disable them all, but on some computers, occasionally a program might not work properly after disabling a specific category, which means unticking the entry that is related to the problem.
After you make your privacy selection, it will ask you if you want to create a restore point, which is always advisable to do when making changes to any computer environment.
For anyone who is unfamiliar with using System Restore, below is a YouTube video from TechTutor which explains it quite well. Hopefully you will not need to use System Restore, but knowing how to use it may beneficial for something else in the future.
Sleep peacefully my child through the thunder and the rain
When the new day dawns you will have no more pain
Your dreams will show you the pathway to the stars
You can fly up to the moon and dance on Mars
And when you awaken to a new sunny day
After breakfast you can go out to play
It’s like a storm
That cuts a path
It breaks your will
It feels like that
You think you’re lost
But you’re not lost
On your own
You’re not alone
I will stand by you
I will help you through
When you’ve done all you can do
And you can’t cope
I will dry your eyes
I will fight your fight
I will hold you tight
And I won’t let go
It hurts my heart
To see you cry
I know it’s dark
This part of life
Oh, it finds us all
And we’re too small
To stop the rain
Oh, but when it rains
I will stand by you
I will help you through
When you’ve done all you can do
And you can’t cope
I will dry your eyes
I will fight your fight
I will hold you tight
And I won’t let you fall
Don’t be afraid to fall
I’m right here to catch you
I won’t let you down
It won’t get you down
You’re gonna make it
Yeah, I know you can make it
‘Cause I will stand by you
I will help you through
When you’ve done all you can do
And you can’t cope
And I will dry your eyes
I will fight your fight
I will hold you tight
And I won’t let go
Oh, I’m gonna hold you
And I won’t let go
Won’t let you go
No, I won’t
“Terrible things are happening outside. At any time of night and day, poor helpless people are being dragged out of their homes.
Families are torn apart; men, women and children are separated. Children come home from school to find that their parents have disappeared. Women return… to find their families gone.”
Written by Anne Frank during the German occupation of the Netherlands, 1943.
In the heart of the dust, where the olive trees weep
A story of courage, a promise to keep
The whispers of children, a song on the breeze
A prayer for the morning, for a moment of ease
The rubble-strewn streets, a canvas of gray
But the spirit of Palestine will not fade away
From the camps of Rafah to Jenin’s strong stand
We see your resilience, we’re holding your hand
We are here for Gaza, a world standing tall
We are here for Palestine, we’ll answer your call
From the mountains we shout it, from the shores of the sea
For the land and its people, for the right to be free
We are here for Gaza, our voices will rise
A symphony of hope underneath weary skies
We are here for Palestine, with every beat of our heart
Until justice prevails, we will not stand apart
The headlines may flicker, the world looks away
But the truth of your struggle is brighter than day
The fisherman’s prayer on a sea turned to red
The baker who shares his last portion of bread
The medic who races through alleys of fear
Wiping away a lone, terrified tear
These aren’t just stories, they’re letters of light
A testament to your unwavering fight
We are here for Gaza, a world standing tall
We are here for Palestine, we’ll answer your call
From the mountains we shout it, from the shores of the sea
For the land and its people, for the right to be free
We are here for Gaza, our voices will rise
A symphony of hope underneath weary skies
We are here for Palestine, with every beat of our heart
Until justice prevails, we will not stand apart
They can build up their walls, they can rain down their fire
But they can’t break the will, or the burning desire
For a home where the laughter of children can ring
For the songs of the free that the future will bring
For every displaced soul, for every life that’s been lost
We will carry your memory, whatever the cost
We are here for Gaza, a world standing tall
We are here for Palestine, we’ll answer your call
From the mountains we shout it, from the shores of the sea
For the land and its people, for the right to be free
We are here for Gaza, our voices will rise
A symphony of hope underneath weary skies
We are here for Palestine, with every beat of our heart
Until justice prevails, we will not stand apart
We are here… for Gaza
We are here… for Palestine
We are here… until you are free
The “Paltire” demonstrates Scottish solidarity with Palestinians.
“The British Jewish community have issued a complaint about the combined Palestine-Scotland flags being flown in Scotland.”
I can understand their concern, but I stand in solidarity with the people who are being slaughtered en masse. I stand with the people who protest against any government who supports Zionist ideology.
We now live in a time where protesting against genocide gets people imprisoned without trial in the UK.
Are there people who are still completely sheltered from the fact that Israelis don’t just kill children, they torture them? There are some things in the world that just can’t, and should not be ignored.
This is just an impromptu post regarding a particular nuisance who I just found out spams, and trolls a lot of WP bloggers. I blocked him/her a long time ago from leaving comments, not just to me, but to my followers.
I found that the best way to prevent this unhinged trolling person, who goes by the name, “mosckerr”, from leaving any comments, is to insert the name “mosckerr” into the WordPress “Disallowed Comment Keys”. You can use this method for anyone who becomes a nuisance on your blog. Any comments from them will go straight to trash, and eventually be deleted.
It was on the blog “beetleypete” The musings of a Londoner, now living in Norfolk, that I discovered how much of a pest this person is, which is the reason for this post. Check out what Pete and his followers have to say, and you will then understand more of what I am talking about.
You do not need to wait for someone to become a nuisance on your blog, you can block them pre-emptively using these steps.
Go to:
WP Dashboard
Settings Discussion
Then scroll down to: Disallowed Comment Keys
When a comment contains any of these words in its content, author name, URL, email, IP address, or browser’s user agent string, it will be put in the Trash. One word or IP address per line. It will match inside words, so “press” will match “WordPress”.
You can enter an address, or partial name to successfully block them from making nuisance comments.
After inserting a new entry, scroll to the foot of the page. and select SAVE CHANGES.
The meaning of “RA” in the song is Resistance Army
We say oh ah up the RA, say oh ah up the RA
We say oh ah up the RA, say oh ah up the RA
Tip your tyrants in a river of ink,
Smash that statue, make the people think!
No paper palaces and puppet strings
No thrones, (no crowns), no way, (no kings!)
They wave that sceptre made of cable news,
Here’s the thing: Kiss the ring or pay your dues
But we don’t bow to a counterfeit twit
(We hit), we punch, (we sing), we spit!
They gilded up the palace with a Walmart throne
Sold our Freedom wholesale to a fat megaphone
(Release the files) Nah, bury the receipts
In your gold ballroom with your dumbass tweets.
Trump wants a medal for the lies he sings
Nobel called back, they don’t crown clown-kings!
ICE at the border like busted springs
Tin badge, cold heart, unlawful stings!
If truth is treason, ink our treason on the wall
If courage is a crime, come back and book us all
From docks to deserts, from the slums to the hill
We built these streets (and we pay the fookin bill!)
No Kings! No thrones! No way! (No crowns!)
Get the Hell out (you MAGA clowns!)
We won’t stop until freedom rings
No crowns! No thrones! No way! (No Kings!)
No crowns! No thrones! No way! (No Kings!)
We say oh ah up the RA, say oh ah up the RA
We say oh ah up the RA, say oh ah up the RA
Pedo files locked up like a dragon’s hoard
court jesters juggle with a plastic sword
(Seven wars ended!)—yeah, in your dreams
Still hear real mothers screamin’ real screams
Noem looks like a twat in her cosplay cape
yelling (Off with their heads!) at the fairground gate
Trump’s goons are anything but squeaky clean
Homan’s lunch bag is lookin’ mighty green!
They sell us fear on a payment plan
Then they tell us (don’t)—when we know we (can!)
We aren’t just pawns for would-be kings
You’ll feel our power (when you hear us sing!)
No Kings! No thrones! No way! (No crowns!)
Get the Hell out (you MAGA clowns!)
We won’t stop until freedom rings
No crowns! No thrones! No way! (No Kings!)
No crowns! No thrones! No way! (No Kings!)
No crowns! No thrones! No way! (No Kings!)
No crowns! No thrones! No way! (No Kings!)
We say oh ah up the RA, say oh ah up the RA
We say oh ah up the RA, say oh ah up the RA
His time may be up
There’s a fade on the MAGA sheen
His minions cry “Rebellion”,
We clap back with “Epstein”
A judge picked by Teflon Don
Has ruled against his demands
Will we find In some small way
the rule of law still stands?
Fuck ICE! (Fuck Trump)
Evict that chump
(See this?) Our fist
Built to resist! We’ve got two eyes
(We see your lies!) Truth won’t die
(It multiplies!)
No Kings! No thrones! No way! (No crowns!)
Get the fuck out (you MAGA clowns!)
We won’t stop until freedom rings
No crowns! No thrones! No way! (No Kings!)
No Kings! No thrones! No way! (No crowns!)
Get the fuck out (you MAGA clowns)
We won’t stop until freedom rings
No crowns! No thrones! No way! (No Kings!)
No crowns! No thrones! No way! (No Kings!)
No crowns! Say oh ah up the RA, say oh ah up the RA
We say oh ah up the RA, say oh ah up the RA
Over the last two years, the western media has failed to properly hold Israel to account. Journalists have largely failed to scrutinise their own governments’ involvement. Many of the worst columnists and commentators have defended the actions of the Israeli state, while those afraid of the pro-Israel lobby’s complaints simply resorted to both-sides rhetoric.
So rarely have western audiences been given insight into the Israeli government’s motives for their bombardment of Gaza, beyond references to the horrific events of October 7 and general condemnation of Hamas.
Our front page today is a direct response to this failure.
In Israel, political leaders and media figures have spent years saying very explicitly what they want from their destruction of the Palestinian people. They have barely tried to hide their true intentions.
“No Arab will remain in Gaza”
“No-one must inhabit this land if it is not the Jewish people”
“Israel should make Gaza look like Auschwitz museum”
“It’s not Hamas that should be eliminated. Raze Gaza”
“We have to burn Gaza now”
These are just a handful of quotes showcased in our special report, putting the truth about Netanyahu’s extremist project out there in black and white.
All four pages of these quotes, put together in association with Scotland for Palestine, should be read by those in the UK who have denied genocide and smeared those who told the truth. It should make them feel great shame.
My promise to our readers now, in light of the welcome ceasefire, is this: The National will continue to tell the truth about Israel’s illegal actions in Palestine, and hold those responsible to account.
Shining a spotlight on these quotes is just the first step in that journey towards peace.
Scotland for Palestine, a pro-Palestine and pro-independence campaign group who provided the quotes and helped with translation, added: “Over the last two years, we have witnessed a televised genocide and the wholesale breakdown of international and humanitarian law. Integral to this, has been the systematic dehumanisation of Palestinians and the outright criminal statements made by politicians against Palestinians.
“It’s been horrifying but nothing quite prepares you for seeing these documented altogether in one place. Line after line, the immense suffering of Palestinians at the hands of their occupier is sidelined by politicians as they push on with their blind support for Israel.
“Their statements and lack of action against Israel have emboldened the illegal occupation to commit some of the most heinous crimes against humanity.
“By documenting them, The National is once again leading the way to ensure all those complicit in the cruelty and injustice inflicted on Palestinians are held to account. It’s there in black and white.”
END THE GENOCIDE – STOP ARMING ISRAEL – STOP STARVING GAZA
Saturday 11 October 12noon – Victoria Embankment
Israel is continuing to intensify its genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, including by raining bombs down on Gaza City as part of its invasion and ethnic cleansing of the city. Famine has been declared throughout Gaza due to Israel’s blockade.
The British government remains deeply complicit in Israel’s atrocities through its arms trade and military collaboration with Israel.
Join us on Saturday 11 October in Central London for the next national march for Palestine. Assemble 12 noon at Victoria Embankment.

Following intensive lobbying by representatives of the Israeli government and the arms industry such as Lord Walney, dishonestly presented to the public as ‘independent advisers’, Palestine Action have been branded as a ‘terrorist organisation’, for trying to stop crimes against humanity and for exposing the British government’s complicity in genocide.
Over 1,600 have already been arrested after holding signs as part of the Lift The Ban campaign, with 857 arrests on September 6th alone.Read more >
An additional action is planned to take place outside the Labour party conference in Liverpool on September 28th with 100+ sign-holders. Will you sign up to call on Labour to Lift The Ban?
LABOUR PARTY CONFERENCE – LIVERPOOL – SEPTEMBER 28
Yvette Cooper, the Home Secretary, introduced the ban after Palestine Action entered the RAF base at Brize Norton and spray painted two military planes red, shining a spotlight on the role of the British military in partnering Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian people.
It is vital that our campaign succeeds – not just for Palestine Action but for democracy. Once the meaning of ‘terrorism’ is separated from campaigns of violence against a civilian population, and extended to include those causing economic damage or embarrassment to the rich, the powerful and the criminal, then the right to freedom of expression has no meaning and democracy is dead. If we let this go, the unions, and climate and racial justice movements will be next.
But the Government has overreached itself. Our groups and movements are coming together like never before, finding unity under repression. By refusing to give into fear and by standing together, we will face down this assault on us all.
The objective of this campaign is to Lift the Ban on Palestine Action, i.e. for Palestine Action to be de-proscribed as a ‘terrorist organisation’.
Support for Microsoft Windows 10 will end on October 14 2025, so Microsoft will no longer provide free software updates, or security fixes. After support ends, Windows 10 will still work, but it will become increasingly less secure.
A lot of computers will not have the requirements to run Windows 11, but they will have the ability to run Linux OS (Operating System). There are already a lot of laptops that are struggling to run Windows OS.
There are numerous versions of Linux which are called Distros (distributions). For this article I will be focussing on Linux Mint, but at the end I will insert a link to explore other Linux Distros in a virtual environment. Linux Mint is completely free.
CLI (command line interface) vs GUI (graphical user interface.
Times have changed, and using Linux Mint is very similar to using Windows. There is no need to know how to use a Terminal (the equivalent of Windows Command Prompt) although you could copy & paste command lines from the many Linux advice forums available online if you chose to.
If you want to try out Linux Mint on your Windows 10 machine, even if you intend buying another computer for Windows 11, you can run it from a USB memory stick. Booting into Linux on your computer, gives you the option to either try it out, or install it. Older PCs benefit from Linux Mint XFCE or MATE editions. The standard edition is called Cinnamon. There are also other Linux Distros that work on very old computers. You can run Linux and Windows on the same computer if you like. (Dual Boot).
It is always recommended that before you make any changes to your computer, you should always create a backup, either to an external hard drive, or to the Cloud.
You may benefit from watching YouTube tutorials about Linux. There are plenty to choose from, and there’s plenty of support from the Linux Community online.
Mac OS users who want to try Linux will probably feel more comfortable with Linux Zorin OS
