It's been a whole year and unfortunately I don't see any way of me making another post here. Rapidshare has made a habit of screwing things up royally for the last couple of years and, apart from that, I really can't seem to have the time or the will to be bothered to upload everything back up or to even start making new posts and upload new stuff; so please don't make any requests for reuploads. Internet is vast you know, you can find literally everything you need without looking for rapidshare links, Soulseek being my preferred method when it comes to music. I'd like to thank all the followers of this blog and everyone that supported it in any way, including the ones that bothered to leave a thank-you comment.
Punks Make Your Day might be over, but I will be moving on (I already have, actually) to Parasighting; hope to see you there. Cheers \m/

The Woggles part I
Drawing their inspiration from the raw nostalgia of '60s rock, the Woggles added their own hybrid of surf, R&B, rockabilly, and blues upon their 1987 formation. Based out of Athens, GA, the band eventually released a handful of EP on Zontar, Estrus, and Lance Rock Records between 1990 through 1993, Estrus Records packaged the bands first full-length, Teen Dance Party, in 1993. Following the Zontar Sessions album a year later on Estrus, Telstar Records put out the Woggles third full-length, Get Tough!, in 1997, amongst another batch of 7"s in between. The mini-album Wailin' with the Woggles came out on One Louder Records the following year.

KSMB never fared very well with the critics. But while they've always stood in the shadows of the critically hailed Ebba Grön, at their height of fame in the early '80s they were able to draw almost as big crowds. Where Ebba Grön were angry and serious and in some ways lyrical, KSMB were more playful and had a stronger "don't give a damn" attitude. Maybe KSMB didn't have the same talent when it came to lyrics, but this, together with their approach and their singalong friendliness, in a way only made them more punk. After their first album, KSMB developed a slightly softer sound, similar to what would later be called punk-pop. The band only held together until 1982, but the last year it was one of the most popular live acts in Sweden. After that, KSMB members were involved with other bands (Strindberg, Stockholms Negrer) until they reunited in 1993, but that didn't prove very successful.

Honeycomb Bones are from Hull, England. They play a very interesting mix of noisy garage rock garnished with psychedelic touches. So far, they have only released three digital EPs which they have made are available for free.
