Taking their unusual band name from a Game Theory song, this Memphis alternative rock indie band speaks for me lyrically in this power pop song.
What’s that song, it sounds like heaven?

Tube Top Love

Tube Top was a Seattle power pop band. In addition to their only album that I spoke about in a prior post, they released the following single.

The album, Three Minute Hercules, is available on Bandcamp with the following bonus unreleased track that wasn’t on my original CD.

Though these days are tired and worn
With feels of fray
Like old favorite ripped up jeans
Of younger days
You bring the sunshine
In such darkened skies of grey
The joy and laughter, invaluable
The love between, infallible
So, when you’re feeling down
Look around and do not forget
The lovely days when we first met
For those bright days are never gone
Such memories are now reflections lingering
In ripples far across the quiet pond

The day with you
Sharing a Starbucks
Vanilla cream coffee cold brew
Shopping together at Ross
And finding a cute top or cozy sweater
Doing these things with you
Is always so much better
Bingeing on the “Love Is Blind” TV show
And putting it up for a deep discussion
When my minds not tired and slow
I enjoy it with such giddy gumption
All the little things, these things
We experience when we’re together
Are just the best of the best
In any of our California weather
