Available through Penguin Random House's Kokila imprint, the debut book by Kang (BRDD 2021, Illustration, Literary Arts) is "a tender and vulnerable exploration of love and loss that follows two boys as they take their first trip back to the lake without their father."
Through a longstanding partnership with the Hyundai Motor Group, RISD offers a Biodesign Studio course wherein students "[experiment] with biopolymers ... to create green bioplastics that might someday replace less Earth-friendly materials used in the automotive industry."

Dual Degree Program students choose a major at RISD and a concentration at Brown; they will receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from RISD and a Bachelor of Arts degree or a Bachelor of Science degree from Brown.
Students who wish to apply to the five-year program must submit separate applications to RISD and to Brown, as well as submit the supplementary essay for the Dual Degree Program at the time of application.
