Founded in 1966, the Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale (RILM) is a global organization dedicated to documenting and making accessible the world’s musical knowledge across all traditions. Through digital collections and advanced tools, RILM serves research and performance communities worldwide. It is committed to preserving music scholarship in all languages, spanning cultural and disciplinary boundaries within the arts, humanities, sciences, and social sciences. Accredited by UNESCO, RILM plays a key role in safeguarding global musical heritage. Its headquarters are located at the CUNY Graduate Center in New York.
RAPMM: Zines on Scenes Rarely Seen
RAPMM is an international, full-text digital collection of independently released, hard-to-find magazines and fanzines issued from the 1960s to the present. Released with over 125 publications, and continuously growing, RAPMM covers a wide array of popular music topics in the realm of punk and other rock genres, indie, hip hop, and country. A truly multidisciplinary resource, RAPMM preserves interviews, band profiles, album reviews, and other content that trace relationships between music and social movements, fashion, art, and subcultures.
