Greetings,
To achieve the greatest number of friends, followers, and likes possible in social media, one needs to avoid politics and religion; so I embrace both. I am a Liberal who has been possessed by a conservative for years; one whom no Liberal can cast out. I say this because some things I would be driven to do, I do not, and other things I would not desire to do, I do. Indeed, evidence of this phenomenon includes the fact that although I am of a free artistic spirit, I can somehow still feel responsibility. But what is most convincing that I am possessed by a conservative is that I would feel conviction taking things away that belong to others for myself or to redistribute to others who refuse to accept personal responsibility. I am also absolutely against using, manipulating, or destroying others for my own personal gain. These are things Liberals and pseudo Conservatives do under the guise of compassion and equality.
Impulses aside; as for my current state of affairs, for the time being I am residing in the “domestic terrorist” State of Texas,
TEXAS AKBAR EVERYBODY! (Note to DHS, FBI, NSA, IRS et al: Just kidding, okay?, ha ha? No?) After all, many Texans do fit the profile: faith in God, patriotic, pro-life, believer in individual rights, state’s rights, etc, etc, set forth by the Department of Homeboy Security for potential domestic terrorist suspects (See here: Is Texas A Terror State?)
I spend what time I can spare, justify, or just plain sneak in, playing guitar and writing. My aspirations are to be, at the very least, an acceptable writer and musician.
Of all the things one could possess, time is near the top of my needs list. If I cannot have more time, speed will have to suffice in the meanwhile until the time more time comes around.
Interests
My main interest is in God. However, I am also interested in history, current world affairs, God, human nature, music, more current world affairs more music, and God, to name a few. . . and, oh, did I mention God?
And, why not God above all else?
Of all things we can think upon, God should be the most obvious to be conscious, curious, and concerned about; and the most of all things to be desired! Even so, I am not overly interested in religion or church. I separate God from church, although I do believe God is working in many churches and people to varying degrees. I have even less faith in politicians, having come to the conclusion that by this point in time in 2006 there is little to no hope offered by politicians or any major political party. Because I am confident that I understand basically where the world is headed, my main interest in my observation of politicos and world affairs is to know the season and track the speed at which things will occur and how they will come to pass.
For a historical perspective, a complete overview is important, but I focus much on the global events of the 20th century and the times and figures surrounding the two great world wars. Being that history tends to repeat, there are lessons that we are ignoring at our own peril which are contained in 20th century history. The past century was also a turning point for civilization as Toffler’s “Third Wave” began to swell which is now being thrust forward by advancing technologies and merging powers, bringing the world into a transition into a global society.
It was also around the beginning of the 20th century, the so called “Progressive” movement began to take hold upon society. This movement would change the world over the next century and bring us to where we are today. During that time H.G. Wells was one of the pioneers and recorders of this movement. Of all writers from that period, I am fascinated by Wells’ writings on global transformation and his gift of perception of the future. In my own writings I reference and quote Wells more than any other. I stand, however, as an avid antagonist to Wells’ world views and proposed “solutions”.
I am intrigued by the plight of Israel. This intrigue, again relates to my greatest interest which is in God. My interest in God inspires my study of history, humanity, the creation, and things invisible. It is my determination, based not on mere scripture alone, but on history, nature, and creation itself, that God does exist. Israel and the Jewish people are evidence of the existence of God and through them, the keys to the door of knowledge are obtained and the door opened. The faith I hold in these things is also apparent in my writings by the biblical references and perspectives contained therein.
Writings
I began writing casually in June 2006 after having given myself to years of watching, reading, searching, and analyzing the world around me for decades. In light of the disinformation being spread by mass media, the independent way in which I have done research and gathered knowledge has made me feel as though I have somewhat to contribute, rather than merely parroting what others are saying.

What I believe (This is where I digress from a profile . . . if I haven’t already)
What follows was first posted in 2006. It remains applicable to the current crises, if not more so now than then. There have been some grammatical corrections and editing for clarity, but the content is essentially consistent with the original.
I believe we are living in an age [2006] of transition when the world as we know it today will see a radical change. This global transition is brought on by modernization and globalization combined with the unification and consolidation of power at home and abroad. Unfortunately, although knowledge has been built upon from generation to generation, giving mankind more power than in any time in history, at the same time, mankind is reverting back morally, and tribal impulses are becoming the guiding force. These primitive impulses, although cloaked in sophistry, modernization, and newly acquired knowledge, inspire old ideologies that are eroding the foundation of our rights and freedoms. They also devalue the individual and promote forced collectivism (fascism, communism, socialism, and almost all other, “. . . isms”).
Collectivism has long been the rule in many cultures. However, the natural impulse for such rule is not exclusive to tribal cultures, undeveloped societies, or civilizations of the past. Moreover, regardless of how seemingly civilized, there is a natural tendency in all collective communities, regardless of ideologies, to become totalitarian, and in a sense, tribal in nature. In the modern collective society for example, independent character development of individuals is replaced by mass social programming and group thought. The individual conscience is replaced by a contrived group-conscience of politically correct social decrees of the state. I believe that in a final analysis, these societies are every bit as barbaric and cruel as any other primitive tribal culture, even if only through sophistry and a charade of fastidious “compassion” and “goodwill” that deceives of the hearts of the simple.
No new thing under the sun
Other than an outward appearance of sophistication, another difference between the modern neo-tribal society with advanced sciences, vis-a-vis its primitive counterpart, is the amount of power the former is able to amass through wealth, knowledge, and science. Nazi Germany stands as a prime example where intellect was worshiped while the focus on moral character and the value of life were disregarded or sacrificed for efficiency and the benefit of the state. The end goal of such societies is assimilating the citizenry under the absolute power of the state into a “superior” collective being: the “godstate”, which rejects Natures God. The end result of this is pseudo advancement devoid of morality, which, in fact is not an advancement at all but a digression always ending in human catastrophe.
Human intellect, being perceived as the greatest power, is a concept which holds in contempt the principle that God is the greatest power. However, the greatest and freest societies ever known to mankind were those which were built upon a foundation of a belief in a Creator that gives his creatures of creation righteous and eternal principles whereby they should live, not mere intellectualism. The words, “When America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great” are not without merit and no civilization is exempt.
While there are many dangers facing the world today, the greatest threat is not posed by religious fanatics or even terrorists threatening mass destruction. This is not to diminish the terrorist threat which is very real indeed, but to identify the true source of global dangers and magnify a threat that is much greater within the global economic system and governmental workings of the world’s most powerful nations today.
Adherents to radical Islam would have very little wherewithal whereby to achieve their ambitions without supporting nations. To whatever degree terrorists succeed in the future it will have only have been made possible by governments which harbored, supplied, and provided a cover whereby terrorists could exist. Moreover, the nations directly sponsoring terrorists are also given their power by the most powerful nations in the world. It is therefore that Islamic fanaticism could be defeated if the collective will of the nations were to do so. Therefore they may have the greater damnation.
Notwithstanding, the will of the nations to seriously confront the dangers posed by Islamic extremists does not exist for various reasons. In Western democracies, capitulation is founded upon the fear of global crises and economic disruption which would ensue at home and abroad in a full scale confrontation with extremists. In some other nations the reason for supporting hostile regimes is much more nefarious. Some governments with malevolent ambitions have found it to their advantage to use Islamic extremism to their advantage. By proxy they hope to displace American influence globally and assert themselves as global powers. This is true of Russia and China which both profit financially off rogue entities and are fighting an asymmetrical war against the West in general, but primarily against the United States. These ambitions, which have been all but ignored by the West, are harder to deny in the case of Venezuela which is much more blunt about its goals.
While China’s economy is based on manufacturing, Russian and Venezuelan economies are based primarily on energy resources: oil and gas. Both reap greater profits form higher oil prices due to a Middle-Eastern crisis and global terrorism. Both work to corner the market on supplies. The alliance between these nations and other hostile regimes goes beyond economics and establishing global control of energy supplies for financial gain. There is also the tactic of confronting the West through Islamic proxies. This not only drains the resources of the West, but also offers a means diverting attention away from the rising threats of their own nations which have totalitarian underpinnings and global ambitions.
American wealth through global enterprise has built and empowered much of the world. Nations such as Russia, China, and others who have been empowered by the West are now to the point they can together readily challenge the West. Although these nations are often alluded to as though they are aspiring democracies, the political and economic reality is that the structure and philosophies of these formally so called communist nations now resembles the fascist regimes of the 1930’s.
The West currently [2006] is faced with an intense asymmetrical war which involves economics, technology, politics, and confrontation by proxy. Nevertheless, Westerners in large choose to live in denial. There will come a point however, when these nations which oppose U.S. hegemony openly assert themselves in a challenge to U.S. power. What takes place between now and then on their part is merely positioning and maneuvering in order to gain an insurmountable advantage. (2014, this prediction is becoming more obvious)
Possible scenarios
Russia and China are emerging global powers. They have no aversion to formation of a world order on their terms. The main obstacle in their view has been the United States and to a lesser degree Europe. On the other hand, there are also elitists in the West who have no aversion whatsoever to formation of a world order with these totalitarian countries, insomuch, that they have set about dismantling and condemning Western sovereignty and power from within at every opportunity. Many proponents of a global order believe so fool-heartedly in it, they disregard any risk involved and would be pleasured to see a world order regardless of the initial cost to humanity.
I have a premonition [2006] that the world is on the verge of a two part catastrophe. It arises out of the attempt to merge nations with incompatible ideologies into a global system and it is further compounded by the adopted solutions to rectify the discord. It is very possible that in the aftermath of an event or chain of events, such as global economic upheaval, international terrorism with WMD, a nuclear devise, war, or some other catastrophe, the catalyst may exist to form a multi-polar global society. In any case, the end result will be catastrophic.
The West has been the stabilizing force in the world for decades. Over time, however, western civilization has been sold out by its politicians, international elitists, and global corporations. Media-elitists have worked to condition the citizenry to accept this or to be ignorant of it. This shall manifest itself in no small way. The erosion of the power of free nations is evident; and, at this point irreversible. Once US hegemony ceases from being the stabilizing force, conflicts and global chaos will follow; world stability today [2006] as we know it will cease.
I have, however, another premonition also, for there has always been a people somewhere, some place, who arise to stand for Good. And the children of Light shall be drawn unto them; for Good will sustain them. In the end it always does. Keep an eye on Israel.

————————————————————————————-
I set this blog up November 13th 2006 to create a record my reckonings, and to rant on them. Subject matter will mostly pertain to current affairs and expressions of certain beliefs and worldviews which I hold. More often than not these writings will deal with politics and history. Other post will express philosophy, usually inspired from a Biblical perspective.
At the time of this writing in 2006, I am moved to make a record of the coming transition of our world. I believe we are living in a time of cataclysmic change that will drastically affect not only our own lives, but the lives of everyone on the planet in the future. This change is already here, but when it begins to become obvious to the inattentive, we will already have passed the point of correction and will quickly find ourselves in a world turned upside down that cannot be righted. Many are already aware of the coming change, but few realize the extent of it since many of its effects are not felt yet; for this reason many choose to live in denial of its existence.
On the other hand, there are others who are aware of this coming wave of change, yea, who are participants in bringing it about and even hail its arrival, believing that it brings a world they have been awaiting. But lastly, there are those who see this change, who have followed it and recognize it for the evil it is, and for what it will become. However, they have no power to stop it. Thus, they blow the trumpet, the sound goes out, but few it seems regard the sound.
To some this world view will come across darkly, however, I consider myself somewhat of an optimist who finds hope even as everything turns black around him, holding on to the faith that it is but for a moment until the True Light shines. On the other hand, my hope is not for the world as a whole overall, but for the good; for I believe good will prevail as the light goes unconfined by the darkness.
That being said, besides being a forum of expression, another reason for the creation of this blog is to create a record of thoughts and the things I believe were, are, and will be. And, that these things may be reflected upon at a later date to verify or refute the truth of these perspectives and beliefs against time and future revelations of the truth.
