ok… I have some news.. I finally have https://www.laurieoneil.com all set up and it will be an all inclusive website. It will showcase my portfolio and a blog all in one location. I’m very excited about it.. I finally have something set up that I really really like and am proud to call me own and put my name on it.

Today I received a couple of lenses in the mail. I wish I could say they are ones that I was able to purchase but alas I cannot. I rented them! I couldn’t believe you can rent lenses.. I know a few photographers who do and only recently just found that out. What a great way to test drive lenses before buying them. I rented two for the wedding I’m shooting this weekend and I now feel really really good about shooting it knowing I have a couple of great lenses for my low light shooting.

I also was able to purchase some great textures at Flypaper Textures. I’ve been trying to make my own but finally decided that my time is very valuable and since I’m not really great at photoshop it would be easier and less maddening to purchase some really cool ones.. and wouldn’t make my checking account sad.

So here are two from the new borrowed lenses and a couple of textures as well.. more to come!
