It sounds to me that your opinion on this is directed only towards the cost of Eftar or Shisha, but this is a month where all the routines of our daily life changes. Ramadan Tents are not mosques rather Tents and if an individual wants to pray he can find the place to pray regardless of Tent or no Tent. Additionally, Tents have been in our culture for many years, prior to stone and wood housing. This was the simple life living, it just got modernized as everything else did. The fact the many countries still recognize the Tent is indeed a tradition to behold on to. The Tent during the holy month brings people together no matter who and what they are. They eat together, share opinions and learn from one another unlike any other time of the year while everyone is busy. The acceptance that we feel and the forgiveness that we give during this holy month happens not when you are alone, but with other brothers and sisters. As you my friends, some of you think it for party, some think its expensive, some of you just want to be alone. I must have to disagree with you. I want to be around people, a friend that I have not seen in long time because I am busy, or a nighbour I have not gotten to know. I want to be out and about to share a beautiful and special months with other.
May this Ramadan brings you peace within yourselves.
