I am a husband, father, Christian, and student of the Bible and Theology.  I am Assistant Professor of Old Testament at Ambrose University College in Calgary, AB, and I am also in the final stages of completing the PhD in Christian Theology at McMaster Divinity College, with a major focus on the literature of the HB/OT.  I am particularly interested in the Latter Prophets, hermeneutics, Hebrew and general linguistics, critical theory, theological interpretation and biblical theology, and a whole host of other stuff.  On this blog you’ll find some biblical studies, some theology, some cultural reflection, and whatever else is on my mind.
