I started writing this blog in 2010, just a few months after giving birth to my son and relinquishing my rights to parent him. For over 6 years I wrote here – telling my story and giving my perspective on living as a Mother not parenting her child.

As of January of 2017 I’m no longer writing at the blog – please see my last post for more information as to why. If you want to access to any of my old posts or to touch base with me about anything to do with adoption, please email me at racilous@gmail.com.

Hello you brave first mom/birth mom!

I am an adoptive parent of eleven children. Our son, who will be 18, was placed with us in a totally open adoption from his birth in 06/93. We still have contact to this day and I love Jen sooooooooooooooo …had she decided not to place and yes she struggled the second day of his life………..I still know we would be friends to this day…we are gut connected…does that make sense to you?

I will have to read more of your writings but so far I am impressed…ever need to talk email me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ever want to talk to Jen she would welcome that!
