Chocolates left on pillows in Britannia rooms came in four varieties — Milk, Mint, Orange and Dark. Other items left at turndown at night included a daily fax newsaper depending on your nationality, a guide to the next day’s events and, if the following day was a port day, a really bad, often inaccurate map of the port to be visited.
