I was born and raised in California. I call the San Francisco Bay Area home. I currently work as a design engineer in the piney woods of East Texas.

For me, blogging began my freshman year in college when I was forced to take English Composition 1 and was required to create an online journal and update it a few times during the semester. I started with Xanga since at the time I thought blogging was going to be a temporary thing to help me get an A in the class. After the course, I began writing what I was feeling and the random thoughts and ideas filled my head during the day. I eventually moved to Diaryland, and finally to WordPress.

Why am I Not Your Average Guy (NYAG)? Well, my interests are not the same as any typical guy.  I am random. I am a dork. I would rather derive a mathematical equation for fluid flow through a sphere instead of watching the NFL Superbowl. I snowboard ‘goofy’ (if you don’t know, that is right foot front). When I am bored, upset, angry, sad, or overwhelmed with emotion I jump in the car and just drive. I love the beach and spend any minute I can in the sun. Want to know more?
