What does Diversity, Equity and Inclusion mean to me?
Diversity: Is about differences, such as, differences between gender, race and identity. Every student is unique, and we should be creating a classroom that promotes diversity.
Equity: Is providing students or people with tools in order to succeed. It is about fairness because we should never assume that every child learns the same way.
Inclusion: Is making sure every single person is feeling valued and respected in any setting. I believe it is important to create an inclusive classroom, so every student feels welcome.
