The Lacombe family, now living in a new Parisian office, are just a few of nearly 200,000 homeless in France who activists – and the government – are trying to house in vacant properties.
"[In France, there’s] an estimated 190,000 people sleeping in the streets, alleys, and subway platforms and drifting from shelter to shelter…[and] an additional 400,000 people stay with friends and family on couches and floors, while more than 3 million live in crowded accommodation." As we follow our Lord and "proclaim good news to the poor" (Luke 4:18), how might we become the answer to our prayers?
