Dafydd Stuttard writes the first version of Burp, with actual burping sounds!

Burp Suite v1.0 launches, including Burp Proxy, Sock, Spider, and Repeater.
2007-08

1st edition of the Web Application Hackers Handbook launches, reaching over 100k security professionals.

James Kettle joins to lead PortSwigger Research; publishes original research on server-side template injection.
