WUI (Writing under the influence)
Somebody once said we are all Americans, sometimes born in the wrong places. On a warm autumn day in 1986, while enjoying beer with my college buddies,
I decided to join my new homeland.
I've come to appreciate the ideals that helped create this great country.
Liberalism, political-correctness, multiculturalism and moral equivalence
are destroying it.

The post below...
The authors who are clearly agents of the left and who for some reason despise energy independence of freedom loving societies like ours are trying to explain here why they lie. It's pathetic!
One of the commenters puts it succinctly: "for leftists, a lie that furthers the cause is not really a lie."
Indeed.
Why are we so stupid?
The result? My mother's state pension check is not enough to cover her energy needs. Of course, she doesn't rely on her state pension check as it should be but it is interesting how European politicians, including those who should know better (e.g., the Polish people know who Putin is,) would rather import energy from an enemy -- yes, Putin is our geopolitical enemy #1 no matter what Democrats used to say -- instead of exploring their own.
Now, we are doing the same thing in the US. We have a chance to become the biggest producer and exporter of energy ever. We can also, in the meantime, import cheap energy cheaply from Canada by building the Keystone XL pipeline.
But some elements in our society are set against it.
They are either very stupid, or, more likely, very evil.

Affirmative action doesn't work

My children, I really tried but I was outnumbered...
So, as Hitler annexed Czechoslovakia, they were thinking about the next election.
How reassured are you that we are in good hands? Than you, takers. At least you have your food stamps, right?
And one more thing. I'm pretty sure that at least a couple of them -- and they are all dim, I admit -- as they look at Obama say something utterly irrational again, are thinking "We are so fucked..."
To which I only have one question: We? What about your children?
