DAILY PRAYER: Eternal Father, We offer You the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
AMERICAN HISTORY: On January 20, 1937, Franklin D. Roosevelt was the first US president to be sworn in under the new rules of the 20th Amendment. Since then, every president has been sworn in on January 20.
LIFE AFTER LIFE: “If you seek Him, you will find Him.” [4:11] – I met someone once who had had one of these experiences. It was obvious it had had a PROFOUND impact on his life.
MINNESOTA: Gov. Walz has mobilized his state’s National Guard and is having them wear bright vests over their uniform so anti-ICE protesters can ‘distinguish them from other agencies.’
PRAYER for OUR NATION: Dear Lord, As we begin the second year of President Trump’s second term, we ask Your blessing on him, that he will be mindful of and in alignment with Your will in all things. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
GRAMMY NOTES: I am reposting the meditation about alignment that I posted yesterday, because it really hit me where I live. I have been thinking and praying about it a lot. I have wasted far too many of the hours God has given me brooding over the past and fearing for the future.
There are times and reasons to think about the past or to plan for the future, but as C.S. Lewis has pointed out, those times and reasons are only aligned with God’s will when they are the legitimate business of the present. Our lives only intersect with eternity in the now. The past is fixed; the futures we imagine may or may not happen. Our holy task is to focus on being aligned with God’s will in each present moment.
Somewhere in this pondering, it crossed my mind that it’s like magnetic lines of force. CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/v5Jprglwua4 to watch a brief demonstration.
When I imagine each of us being one of those little iron filings, I have to laugh at how futile it is to think we can see God’s pattern and meaning for our lives from our perspective. Only He can see the whole pattern. Our entire job is merely to align ourselves with His will so that we take our proper places in that pattern.
U.S. Department of Justice Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon said her agency is investigating the incident for possible federal civil rights violations.
Surprisingly (to me), the most relevant federal statute may be The Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE). While it has primarily been used to prosecute peaceful anti-abortion protesters, it actually prohibits the use of force, threats, or physical obstruction to interfere with individuals seeking reproductive health services or exercising their religious rights at places of worship.
Cities Church could potentially also take this to a local court and sue for criminal trespass. Churches (including their buildings, grounds, parking lots, and related facilities) are typically considered private property, even when they are open to the public for services, events, or general visitation. This means the church leadership (or authorized representatives, like pastors, elders, or property managers) can control access, decide who is welcome, and revoke permission for anyone to be there.
These protesters engaged in criminal trespass by knowingly and intentionally entering to disrupt and then refusing to leave when asked. Penalties vary by state and severity and can include fines, jail time, probation, or community service. Our constitutional rights to gather and express ourselves are only guaranteed on government property. Private property owners get to choose when and how they happen.

CLICK https://x.com/michaeljknowles/status/2013290671377887551 [:19] to hear Don Lemon protesting is about making people uncomfortable. The First Amendment actually guarantees “the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.” Traumatizing kids at church doesn’t qualify.
DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, This. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
2A: The DOJ’s Office of Legal Counsel has just issued a 15-page opinion declaring that the 1927 federal ban on mailing firearms through the USPS is unconstitutional and can not be enforced anymore. Ammunition and gunpowder still can’t be mailed for safety reasons.
AMERICAN HISTORY: On January 19, 1840, US Naval captain Charles Wilkes became the first American to explore the coast of Antarctica. Though whalers traveled the waters near Antarctica, no one had mapped out the land.
BOARD OF PEACE: Trump is forming an international body that he will lead to guide the second phase of his peace plan in the Gaza Strip. He has named seven members of the Board of Peace’s executive board: Secretary of State Marco Rubio; U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff; Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law; former British Prime Minister Tony Blair; financier Marc Rowan; World Bank President Ajay Banga; and deputy national security adviser Robert Gabriel.
BORDER: In April 2000, under President Clinton, federal agents stormed a Miami home to seize six-year-old Elian Gonzalez and return him to Castro’s Cuba, all in the name of deference and diplomacy.
In November 2014, President Obama said undocumented workers broke the law and must be held accountable, especially those who are dangerous.
In June 2009, Chuck Schumer said people who enter the country illegally are illegal aliens and should not be treated the same as legal immigrants.
They had no problem enforcing immigration law then. The laws are no different now.
FLORIDA: [6:03] – Pause the video at :28 and take a good look at the woman’s face. She clearly thinks it’s all fun and games!
GREENLAND: Trump announced that, starting Feb. 1, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Finland will be charged a 10% tariff until such time as a Deal is reached for the Complete and Total purchase of Greenland.
“The United States has been trying to do this transaction for over 150 years. Many Presidents have tried, and for good reason, but Denmark has always refused. Now, because of The Golden Dome, and Modern Day Weapons Systems, both Offensive and Defensive, the need to ACQUIRE is especially important.”
MINNESOTA: On Thursday, President Trump threatened to use the Insurrection Act to deploy military forces if officials in the state do not stop protesters from targeting immigration officials. The Pentagon has ordered about 1,500 active-duty soldiers in Alaska to prepare for a possible deployment to Minnesota.
MILITARY: Last week, we took out Bilal Hasan al-Jasim, an ISIS leader affiliated with the terrorist group that killed two U.S. service members and an interpreter on Dec. 13, 2025. Adm. Brad Cooper, CENTCOM commander, said. “There is no safe place for those who conduct, plot, or inspire attacks on American citizens and our warfighters. We will find you.”
PRAYER for OUR NATION: Dear Lord, Continue to guide and bless our president. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Keep our minds and our hearts centered in You all day, every day, and all night, every night. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
AMERICAN HISTORY: On January 18, 1911, Eugene Ely flew a Curtis Pusher biplane from this location, Tanforan Park in San Bruno, CA, and landed on a wooden platform constructed aboard the Navy Cruiser USS Pennsylvania anchored in the San Francisco Bay. This, the first ever landing of an airplane on a ship, contributed significantly to the development of Naval aviation.
HEALTH: I am very grateful to have lived in a community that said no to fluoride. They tried once that I’m aware of. I wrote a letter to the editor pointing out that it would be a huge waste of money to dump fluoride into the millions of gallons of water we use for washing and flushing. Since people who wanted fluoride and could afford it were able to get it in drops and toothpaste, I suggested making it available to low income families at the free vaccination clinics already serving that population. I like to think my thoughts contributed to the city dropping the issue.

MILITARY: The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) delivered good news for America’s troops Friday, confirming that the one-time $1,776 “Warrior Dividend” paid to service members in December 2025 is completely tax-free, allowing troops to keep every dollar of the bonus.
WOMEN’S SPORTS: The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) has launched Title IX investigations into 18 school districts in California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, Nevada, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont and Washington. Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights Kimberly Richey said, “Time and again, the Trump administration has made its position clear: Violations of women’s rights, dignity, and fairness are unacceptable. We will leave no stone unturned in these investigations to uphold women’s right to equal access in education programs, a fight that started over half a century ago and is far from finished.”
GRAMMY NOTES: In 1979, my then-boyfriend and I went to a donut shop in the wee hours to discuss the pros and cons of getting married. As I wrote them out on a napkin, the truckers who were also there helped out. LOL We met 47 years ago this month and celebrated our 46th anniversary last fall. ❤
DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, May You be on our minds, on our lips, and in our hearts every moment of every day. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
AMERICAN HISTORY: Benjamin Franklin was born on January 17, 1706, in Boston, Massachusetts Bay Colony. “The first citizen of Philadelphia,” Franklin was a printer, inventor, postmaster, and the only person to sign all four of the key documents in US history.
EDUCATION: A guidance counselor at Marshall Elementary School in Eureka, Kansas, asked sixth graders to name their heroes. But when students named Charlie Kirk or President Trump, she scolded them and refused to allow the names to be added to the board.
Parents complained about this viewpoint discrimination, leading to a faux “apology” to students, during which the principal instructed students that, in the future, they should bring concerns to school officials – not their parents. The principal stated that the school should also be considered their family.
The ACLJ has filed a federal discrimination complaint to the U.S. Department of Justice and the Department of Education, asking for an investigation into the school district policies and practices and seeking formal findings that the school engaged in religious and political viewpoint discrimination and violated fundamental parental rights.
ELMER FRAUD: Rep. Mike Wiener (R-Long Prairie) has introduced articles of impeachment against Governor Tim Walz, outlining four separate charges.
Article one alleges Walz violated his oath of office “by knowingly concealing or permitting the concealment of widespread fraud within Minnesota state administered programs, despite repeated warnings, audits, reports, and public indicators of systematic abuse.”
Article two alleges Walz violated his oath of office by “actions and omissions that interfered with lawful oversight, investigation, or corrective action related to fraud in Minnesota state agencies.”
Article three alleges Walz violated his oath of office by “placing political consideration above lawful administration, thereby breaching the public trust.”
Article four alleges Walz violated his oath of office by “failing in his constitutional duty to faithfully execute the laws of the State of Minnesota, particular laws governing stewardship of public funds.”
ICE: [11:39] – Things have gone so far beyond the pale in Minnesota. This is all A-OK with leftists … but Never Forget January 6! ::smh: Such a bunch of flaming hypocrites!
I’VE GOT A SECRET: [8:23] – The poster wrote, “Timothy (the bug eater) went on to do some freelance writing for Saturday Night Live back in the early Belushi/Chase/Radnor years.” After watching his performance as a toddler, I’m thinking he was born for comedy.
PRAYER for OUR NATION: Dear Lord, Bless them with wisdom in their minds and peace in their hearts. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
SCIENCE: Sickle cell disease (SCD) is an inherited, lifelong and painful blood disorder in which red blood cells are shaped like crescents instead of discs, restricting blood flow and causing organ damage.
Sufferers live with chronic, often extreme pain, frequent hospitalizations, and shortened life expectancy. Some sufferers have been cured through bone marrow transplants, but these required rare, perfectly matched donors. New treatments recently approved by the FDA require only partial matches, offering the possibility of cures for the vast majority of sufferers.
USPS: Prices for shipping packages will be going up tomorrow and, in July, the cost of a first-class stamp will increase from 73 to 78 cents. Also, with the retiring of the penny, cash change is now being rounded to the nearest nickel. Change amounts ending in 1, 2, 6 or 7 cents are rounded down. Amounts ending in 3, 4, 8 or 9 cents are rounded up. Rounding only applies to cash transactions, not to check, debit or credit card transactions.
VAXXXINE: U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has ordered the dismissal of federal charges against Dr. Michael Kirk Moore Jr., a Utah physician who was charged with having destroyed government-provided COVID-19 vaccines, issuing fraudulent vaccination record cards, and administering saline injections to some children instead of the actual vaccine, at the parents’ request, so the children would believe they had been vaccinated. Bondi said, “Dr. Moore gave his patients a choice when the federal government refused to do so. He did not deserve the years in prison he was facing. It ends today.”
GRAMMY NOTES: In Junior High, I walked 2 miles to and from school. To avoid having to drive me when it was pouring rain, my mother bought me a bright yellow plastic poncho with a hood that had a brim on it. I looked like a giant rubber duckie. I’m 71 years old and thinking seriously about maybe forgiving her before I die.
AMERICAN HISTORY: On January 16, 1786, Virginia enacted Thomas Jefferson’s Statute for Religious Freedom. It was one of the most important laws ever passed by the Virginia Assembly, provided inspiration for the Bill of Rights, and was one of the achievements of which Jefferson was most proud.
BORDER: In December, 14 of the top 20 metro areas with the largest illegal migrant populations, home list prices declined year-over-year. The three metro areas that saw modest price increases are all so-called “sanctuary cities.”
CALIFORNICATION: The Democrats’ plan to increase the already staggering tax burden they demand of their wealthiest residents ignores the inconvenient truth that said residents have a constitutional right to move elsewhere.
The article linked below claims that California stands to lose $20 billion in tax revenue in 2026 as a direct result of just one company – Google – relocating to avoid the new tax. There is no way to calculate the dollar figure of such a loss; however, $20 billion is likely not far off the mark.
Google’s relocation will cost California’s greedy socialists not just Google’s corporate taxes and the personal income taxes of its two billionaire owners. It will also cost them the personal, school, city, and sales taxes of all the people whose jobs are moving out of the state.
But there are even wider losses to consider. Whenever a major employer leaves an area, people who have to move leave behind homes they can’t sell. Property values drop. Businesses close, because the people who needed them are no longer there. And all of those businesses and people will also no longer be paying taxes.
Funny thing how they were soooo anxious to have the Epstein files released, yet don’t seem to care about getting justice for the victims. It’s almost like they only cared about finding another reason to attack Trump.
GREENLAND: Trump recently had a White House meeting with Danish and Greenlandic foreign ministers during which he stressed that Russia and China will swoop in to control new shipping lanes and mining opportunities in the Arctic if the U.S. does not step into a more direct role.
In response, the EU announced it would be deploying troops to defend Greenland. Troops (which means individuals) sent by the various countries include France (15), Germany (13), Sweden (3), Norway (2), The Netherlands (1), UK (1). By my count, that’s 35. The U.S. already has 200 troops stationed there.
ICE: [14:50] – CLICK https://x.com/mazemoore/status/2011110049372918203 [2:00] to see a flashback to 2016 when Obama’s Press Secretary was asked about ICE agents storming into homes, going room to room looking for illegals, and making children tremble with fear. The Obama administration bragged about the fact that they had forcibly removed the highest number of formal removals of any presidential administration in U.S. history. Over his 8 years, they deported 3 million to 3.1 million illegal aliens. Yet Grok confirms what I recall, which is that the deportation protests held during Obama’s time were relatively small, scheduled marches and sit-ins, not the on-going and organized efforts to harass and physically impede ICE agents that we’re seeing now.
MILK: On January 14, President Trump signed the bipartisan “Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act”, reversing Obama-era restrictions and allowing schools to once again offer whole and 2% milk to students.
MINNESOTA: What the statute actually says is, “the use of deadly force by a peace officer in the line of duty is justified only if an objectively reasonable officer would believe, based on the totality of the circumstances known to the officer at the time and without the benefit of hindsight, that such force is necessary:
(1) to protect the peace officer or another from death or great bodily harm, provided that the threat:
(i) can be articulated with specificity;
(ii) is reasonably likely to occur absent action by the law enforcement officer; and
(iii) must be addressed through the use of deadly force without unreasonable delay.
NICK SHIRLEY: [51:18] – The independent journalist who outed Somali day care fraud in Minneapolis has done it again, going to nonexistent “transportation” companies that have been fleecing taxpayers. Most of them are Somali-owned. If you want to see shorter clips, go to the Not The Bee link below where they are embedded.
PRAYER for OUR NATION: Dear Lord, Please expose and end all election corruption in our great nation that we may truly have a government that is of the people, by the people, and for the people. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
S&G: Precise language is important. But language evolves to meet the needs of society. These words all have real definitions that are commonly understood and therefore useful to the discussions we need to have. Personally, I don’t care if someone calls me cisgender. Since I am female, it merely acknowledges the fact that I am comfortable with my biological sex. Where I draw the line is with statements like “trans women are women.” They’re not. They are men who are not comfortable with their biological sex.
SCOTUS: Speaking of precise language … CLICK https://x.com/tomselliott/status/2011138889478783384 [2:47] to hear the recording. Isn’t it interesting how very fussed up trannies get about having their made up names, genders, and pronouns used, while absolutely refusing to define what “woman” and “man” mean?
WASHINGTON: CLICK https://x.com/EndWokeness/status/2010722341433860557 [:51] to hear about a landlady who has admitted to and been charged with four felony counts for having filled out ballots that were sent to former tenants. Three of those fake votes were counted in the last election. The fourth didn’t pass inspection and was tossed out.
I saw one comment suggesting that, since they caught someone who only did this four times, then there must not be widespread voter fraud. I’m thinking it’s more likely they are using this woman who clearly has no money or political clout as a convenient scapegoat to divert attention from the big fraudsters.
DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, We pray for unity, understanding, and the strength to continue the fight for justice and equality. Help us to carry on Dr. King’s legacy and bring about the world he dreamed of. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
AMERICAN HISTORY: Civil Rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. A Baptist minister, King sought equality for all Americans and fought for peaceful solutions to racial issues.
EDUCATION: The Chicago Teachers Union is largest in the nation. It recently pushed out an ad promoting a tax hike on millionaires and billionaires. There were only 2 things wrong with it. 1. The ultra-wealthy (top 0.1%) already pay 33.4% (i.e., far more than their “fair share”) of all the taxes in this country. 2. Governor is spelled wrong. Since those are both fact-based, one might have hoped the TEACHERS union would have done better!

Grok says the following states have sanctuary cities: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington. In addition, Hawaii and Maryland have statewide sanctuary policies.

PRAYER for OUR NATION: Dear Lord, Please bind the demons driving these insane protests and bring peace and sanity back to our civic discourse. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
SOMALIA: The Trump administration has decided to end temporary protection for Somali nationals in the United States. This “temporary” status has existed since 1991.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem says, “Country conditions in Somalia have improved to the point that it no longer meets the law’s requirement for Temporary Protected Status. Further, allowing Somali nationals to remain temporarily in the United States is contrary to our national interests. We are putting Americans first.”
There are 2,471 Somali nationals in the United States under the status, also known as TPS. Another 1,383 are in the country with pending TPS applications. They’re all supposed to go home before St. Patrick’s Day.
TDS: CLICK https://x.com/jayplemons/status/2010849545945571664 [1:13] to hear Greg Gutfeld make a really interesting point about what he calls “Trump Derangement Addiction.” I agree. And I think there are two key factors. One is that anger generates adrenaline, which in it self is addictive. The other is that anger blocks other emotions, like sadness, so if you’re unhappy with your life, being perpetually angry is a way of self-medicating.
WHITE WOMEN: CLICK https://x.com/PhilHollowayEsq/status/2011246547087081923 [:11] to see liberal white women protesting something or other. The poster asks, “Here again, I can’t understand the extreme hyperemotional, quivering, shaking, quaking, vitriolic screaming behavior. Is there a psychiatrist out there that can explain this?” Best response: “Joe Rogan said it best ‘the least connected, most lost people; he knows, often turning ideologies into their ‘God; in religion’s absence, making them ‘more rigid in their perspectives.’ The absence of God in these people’s lives has taken a toll.”

2A: Here is another example of why liberals should not be allowed to make gun policy. This leftie cartoonist is so ignorant, he showed a revolver ejecting brass. Yeah, no.
AMERICAN HISTORY: On January 14, 1943, Allied leaders met in Casablanca, Morocco, for a high-stakes conference that set the direction of the war in Europe and beyond. What was decided would influence battles, alliances, and the meaning of victory itself.
HEALTH: [10:28] – Many years ago, our doctor told us to stop eating anything that had an ingredient in it we couldn’t pronounce or define. I have found that a useful tool for choosing which foods are “real” vs. which ones are “too processed.”
HUMAN HATERS: CLICK https://x.com/akafaceUS/status/2010475053964546253 to watch what happened when a crazy liberal woman refused to move aside for a man whose wife was in active labor. Blocking one car … which is still running … would not have benefit the planet one iota, but it could have had serious consequences for this mother and child. The climate whack job’s actions served to prove only one thing, which is that Dr. Patrick Moore is 100% correct. Climate activists are anti-human.
HYPOCRISY: Four years ago, Democrats supported incarcerating American citizens who refused to have an experimental drug injected into their bodies. Today, these same Democrats are screaming in protest at the idea of criminal illegal aliens being incarcerated.
ID: CLICK https://x.com/Milajoy/status/2010604349299589560 [:25] to hear a grown man wearing a playing card costume get a taste of the red pill over voter ID. I’m thinking that people who are too stupid and/or lazy to get a photo ID should not be allowed to vote.
FYI: Every U.S. state offers non-driver photo ID cards (also commonly called state ID cards, non-driver’s licenses, or identification cards). These are government-issued photo IDs provided by each state’s department of motor vehicles (DMV) or equivalent agency, designed for residents who do not drive or need an alternative to a driver’s license.
PRAYER for OUR NATION: Dear Lord, Have mercy on the soul of Your servant Scott and grant him Your salvation. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
SCOTT ADAMS: RIP. [12:05] – On a personal note, after years in business, one of my brothers went back to college and got a PhD, then taught at Cornell. He often used Dilbert cartoons to illustrate points.

CATHOLIC: Msgr. Stephen Rossetti, the chief exorcist for the Archdiocese of Washington, prays against spirits of lethargy. [4:44] – Wow … this popped into my feed and I thought, “why not?” After all. I’ve been SO tired lately, despite getting plenty of sleep. After the third repetition, I suddenly became really dizzy, disoriented, and nauseated. Now I’m yawning like crazy. I think I need to do this every day!
GREENLAND: [10:10] – The beginning of this video is a brief segment showing independent reporter Nick Shirley talking to Greenlanders about joining the USA. More important is the longer section after during which a woman explains in simple terms about the importance of us achieving Trump’s dream.
MILITARY: Since Trump took office, backlog of veterans waiting for VA benefits has decreased by 57%. The VA has opened 20 new health care clinics nationwide and investing $800 million in infrastructure improvements to ensure facilities deliver safe and effective patient care. The department has also worked to streamline access to community care, in an effort to make it easier and faster for enrolled veterans to receive treatment from non-VA providers at the VA’s expense.
PRAYER for OUR NATION: Dear Lord, Please send a special blessing on all those who guard or otherwise provide services to the incarcerated. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
SEARCH and RESCUE: This video is 12 years old. [2:40] – FINDER, which was developed by NASA, can detect human heartbeats and breathing through up to 30 feet of rubble or 20 feet of solid concrete. It was first deployed after the 2015 Nepal earthquake, allowing rescuers to locate survivors trapped beneath collapsed buildings.
VACCINES: CLICK https://x.com/TheChiefNerd/status/2010495388688457927 [:59] to hear a vaccine inventor bemoan parents being encouraged to think about when, how, and why their kids get vaccinated. He defeats his own argument when he says, “You can REASONABLY make a decision.” Exactly. He also sounds stupid when he cites “the worst flu season”, as if we didn’t already know that the flu vaccine makes you more likely to catch flu, not less!
Also, Dr. Paul Offitt is not an unbiased expert. He is a co-inventor of the rotavirus vaccine RotaTeq. He is on staff at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) which sold the rights to RotaTeq. Offit received millions of dollars from that sale. Offit has a research endowed 1.5-million-dollar chair at CHOP that is funded by Merck. He used to serve on the FDA’s vaccine advisory board … until RKF Jr. fired him for conflict of interests!
