Established in 1998, our monthly poetry journal aims to inspire poets and readers.

POETS ONLINE offers you the opportunity to submit a poem to our current call for submissions. Using our monthly writing prompt, you can write for yourself or submit it. If it is selected, you'll share it with the online world. We will only consider poems that are in response to our current writing prompt.
We suggest that you read some poems in our archive of more than 300 issues to get a feel for the types of responses people have had to previous writing prompts. The archive provides a rich selection of writing ideas and models for your writing.
