Um. I also picked up a couple of dresses, a scarf, a woolly hat and two leather belts for me. And then nobly (!) purchased some Christmas pressies for mah boys and some bits and bobs that other people had asked me to look out for.

In other news, I have just heard from my last line manager that he is resigning today as he has landed himself a spiffy new job. They now have only one member of the fundraising team left – a 21 year old, just out of college, with no experience and no contacts. I expect I’ll hear the howl of despair from my flat in zone 2 ….

As for paid employment, don’t worry, I’m not remembering it fondly at all. But I will have to face the fact that my redundancy money won’t last for ever. it will last a few more weeks though …
