Branch: CURRENT, Version: 1.1.1, Package name: bitmap-1.1.1, Maintainer: pkgsrc-users
The bitmap program is a rudimentary tool for creating or editing
rectangular images made up of 1's and 0's. Bitmaps are used in X for
defining clipping regions, cursor shapes, icon shapes, and tile and
stipple patterns.
The bmtoa and atobm filters convert bitmap files to and from ASCII
strings. They are most commonly used to quickly print out bitmaps and
to generate versions for including in text.
This is from the modular X.org X11 project.

Log message:
bitmap: update to 1.1.1.
This release adds -help and -version options to all three programs.
For those building for 32-bit platforms, it also enables use of the
"large file" APIs - though no file processed by these programs should ever
be anywhere near 2GB in size, it may be stored on a filesystem which uses
large inode numbers not supported by the original 32-bit APIs.
Since this release was generated using the new GNU autoconf 2.72, this
also adds a --enable-year2038 configure flag which may allow imake to
work with files whose timestamps are later than January 19, 2038, but
this has not been tested.
Alan Coopersmith (6):
configure: Use AC_SYS_LARGEFILE to enable large file support
Ensure all *.c files include config.h before any other headers
atobm, bmtoa, bitmap: Add -help and -version options
bitmap: Print which option was in error along with usage message
Remove "All rights reserved" from Oracle copyright notices
