The Play Imagine Experience (PIE) Space is a museum-inspired, immersive environment where children play and learn interactively. Located on the ground floor of the Waltham Public Library, each PIE is designed on a theme with a variety of activities, props, and toys that promote learning-based play. Each installation includes STEAM activity prompts, book lists, and music. Children and their caretakers can drop by anytime the library is open for interactive play.

PIE HOURS
The PIE Space is open! Visit us On The Farm during the Library's open hours: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM - 8:30 PM; Friday-Saturday, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Sunday, 1:00 - 4:30 PM.
Located on the Ground Floor of the Waltham Public Library, outside of the Children's Room, beside the elevator.
Parking: Free, two-hour parking is available in the lot behind the library.
Accessibility Statement: We strive to build PIE spaces that allow physical access to patrons with mobility aid devices, but some play features may not be accessible to all. The PIE space door is 34" wide. The floor is typically covered with foam tiles. During busy times, movement within the room may be limited. Staff members are happy to assist in meeting specific needs, just ask at the Children’s Room desk!
