The “What We’re Reading” articles feature a curated selection of links to recent publications that have been discussed in the Pittsburgh Review of Books’ Public Humanities Course in the English Department at Carnegie Mellon University.
Students for the spring 2026 semester’s cohort include undergraduates Riona Duncan, Maggie Hua, Sofia Johnson, Ursula Sturgeon, Jennie Tian, and Evie Wright, as well as graduate students Rahaf Almubarak, Paul Beer, Elias Fox, Kathryn Anne Langley, Suzy Liss, Jinze Mao, and Asia Thompson.
