Why a Blog?
A friend recently opened up a wellspring of written word within me; though that outlet is no longer available, I decided to risk ‘going public’ with what I can and thus started this blog. That and the fact I suffer from depression and anxiety and see this as a way to speak to others about it.

I don’t know you and, honestly, haven’t even read your blog, other than the farewell post. I just stumbled across it a few minutes ago. Being a “pessimistic idealist” myself, that farewell sounded ominous to me. This might sound cheesy or cliche or whatever (and it probably is), but I just wanted to say “don’t do anything rash”. Friends come and go. Such is life. I obviously don’t know the circumstances, but if the friends you have are that easily “put off” for good, they aren’t worth having anyway. If they are REAL friends, all will be forgiven, though it may take time. It seems like you have a decent support network on this site, so use them. Anyway, take care. Hope to see you back soon.

Hey! Looks like we have a lot in common lol. I am from Canada too, Taurus, and can definitely write sarcasm fluently.
I’ve been struggling with depression myself for the past year or so and I just started blogging a few weeks ago and its really been helpful! Good luck! : )
