Just Who Is "Hit Man" Karl Rove..?
WARNING: It is not pretty.
Riddle me this: Why would President Bush employ a Brain Bug of such dubious character? A protoge of Donald Segretti the Watergate "rat f*cker" no less, Karl has a track record of his own illegal break-ins, dirty tricks and falsification of documents - Karl Rove was part of the team that was supposed to bring back respect and integrity to the White House?
- Early life and political experiences -
Karl Christian Rove was raised in Colorado and Nevada. His family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah when Rove was in high school. At Olympus High School, Rove began his involvement in politics in 1968: In a 2002 Deseret News interview, Rove explained, "I was the Olympus High chairman for (former United States Senator) Wallace F. Bennett's re-election campaign, where he was opposed by the dynamic, young, aggressive political science professor at the University of Utah, J.D. Williams."[1] Williams then took Rove under his wing, leading to Rove's internship with the Utah Republican Party.
According to a 2003 New Yorker profile, Rove, the second of five children, found out at nineteen (during his parents' divorce negotiations) that the man who raised him was not his biological father. Rove's mother would later commit suicide (in Reno, Nevada in 1981).[2]
In 1970, at the age of nineteen and while a protege of Donald Segretti (later convicted as a Watergate conspirator), Rove sneaked into the campaign office of Illinois Democrat Alan Dixon and stole some letterhead, which he used to print fake campaign rally fliers promising "free beer, free food, girls and a good time for nothing," and distributed them at rock concerts and homeless shelters. Admitting to the incident much later, Rove said, "I was nineteen and I got involved in a political prank." (The Nation).
Rove dropped out of the University of Utah in 1971 to become the Executive Director of the College Republican National Committee and held this position until 1972 when he became their National Chairman (1973-1974). As Chairman, Rove had access to many powerful politicians and government officials of the Republican party, and formed ties with George H. W. Bush, then Chairman of the Republican National Committee (1973-1974) -

Nothing like the conviction of former Illinois Govenor George Ryan to build some big MO for my other investigations and cases.
After 5 months and 83 witnesses there is very little chance that this will end in a deadlocked jury and be declared a mistrial...Not to worry, I hear the jury was only arguing over the Sweet 16 matchups and the recent performances of Kevin Corvais and Bucky Covington on American Idol.

Gale A. Norton, Buh Bye...!
Interior Secretary Gale Norton is resigning after five years in President Bush' Cabinet - apparently revelations about her cozy relationship with Jack Abramoff have become too much for even her to deny anymore.I predict in the very near future that leaving Washington D.C. in disgrace will become much more commonplace, some might even label it a trend.
Chalk one up for the good guys!

"Gale Norton is responsible for the destruction of public wildlands and key wildlife habitat. Her goal was to give away as many of our publicly owned resources as she could to the energy, timber and mining industries, and by that measure, she was very successful. But the Interior Department's job also is to protect our land, protect our drinking water sources, and protect the wildlife that makes that land home. She never took that part of her responsibility seriously.

On former Rove deputy and GOP Head Ken Mehlman aka Fluff Guy:
According to documents obtained by Vanity Fair, Mehlman exchanged e-mail with Abramoff, and did him political favors (such as preventing Clinton administration alumnus Allen Stayman from keeping a State Department job), had Sabbath dinner at Abramoff’s house, and offered to pick up Abramoff’s tab at Signatures, Abramoff’s own restaurant.
