I am an American-Kiwi.

My favorite movie is The Last Starfighter.

I play the piano, violin, percussion and am currently learning the  bass guitar.

I love learning languages and have gone back to university to study German (and bass guitar).  I am also working on getting my Russian and French back this year.

My fantasy dinner party (with an ever-expanding guest list) would include Tamora Pierce, Stephen Fry, Mae Jemison, Ayan Hirsi Ali, Ann Druyan, Douglas Adams,  Terry Pratchett, Dr. Alvito Carrasco (my dad), Carl Sagan, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Nelson Mandela, Annie Jump Cannon, Lucy Stone,Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Harriet Tubman, Elisabeth I, Leonardo DaVinci, and Hypatia.

I am never bored.
