Yummy! I just made this for my new daughter-in-law who loves Strawberry-Rhubarb pie. It turned out really good. It made 13 – 8oz jars of jam plus some left-over for tasting at the table.

Comment on Product Review: Bounty Paper Towels by Absorbent Towel

Bounty was the best brand of paper towel out there (back when I was using them). It may have been a two-ply paper towel, but I swear it soaked up spills like it were a full-fledged sponge! I have nothing bad to say about them other than the expense (which is worth it if you’re a fan of premium paper products). However, may I suggest that on top of getting your fill of Bounty that you try a microfiber, German-made, reusable absorbent towel and compare them side-by-side with Bounty? When used on the same kinds of spills, they both work effectively as far as cleanup and no-mess on your clothes. Plus with the reusable towel, you’re able to throw it in w/ your regular laundry weekly! Hey, get the Bounty out when visitors come over, but when it’s day-to-day cleaning and spills, try the reusable absorbent towels: You’d save a bundle in the long run!

Here’s another option before or after you punch a hole in the other end; if you have PVC Louvers vertical blinds you can purchase the adhesive repair tabs at ezlinertrashbags.com

I read all the posts and was kind of heartbroken at the attitude of most of the people especially the one who started this thread. It isn’t funny to beat people out of a fair profit regardless of which side of the fence you are on. Consumers laughing at beating a salesman out of all his commission is no different than a salesperson cheating a consumer. I once went to Mexico with a group of Americans and saw how some of them would toy with people selling stuff and beat them up for a price only to laugh about it later. One guy even cussed out a 5 year old boy for trying to sell him something. The child lives in poverty and is doing what he’s told to do. The kid was harmless and mild. You are being so typical and predictable. Everyone says they wouldn’t have owned slaves in the slave trading days and they would have known the world was round in the flat earth days but they most likely would have been like everyone else. It’s typical to think people that sell stuff are bad. How about the government employee that sits around doing nothing, the politician that doesn’t work, the judge that sues the dry cleaner for 20 million for ruining his lucky pants, the policeman that writes a bunch of traffic tickets to account for his time so he can park his car in his fellow officer’s garage and play basketball, the doctor that overprescribes carelessly. Come on be real. Don’t be so prejudice. It’s case by case and person by person. If a person came to my house and took the time to show me the value in something then he/she should get a fair profit. Just like I wouldn’t want to be cheated out of my wage.
