Welcome to my little nest on the web.  This is a NO ruffled feather zone here.  Just a place where I can come and share my creations; knitting, drawing, sewing, paper crafts, decorating, writing, cooking, baking, or whatever happens to capture my attention that week.

Some posts will be straight from the owl’s mouth, others just amazing links to sites with genius ideas that I had to try.

Crafting and creating items makes my heart happy.  AND, in my opinion ~ nothing compares to receiving a gift that was made from someones heart and soul.  Anyone can buy a gift – it takes a special person to take their time and imagination to create something for someone else.

I’ve heard people say over and over again, “I am NOT creative!” – those same people probably haven’t tried either.  I can draw, but it doesn’t come easy to me.  But I’m always proud at when I’ve rendered in the end because there is not another one like it- it’s a one of a kind, just like Y-O-U.  Everyone is an artist.

Crafts I love:  Drawing, Sketching, Photography, Decorating Candles with print (i.e. a memorial candle after my father passed), quilting, twisting wire with beads to create beautiful vases, twisting wire to create greeting cards, stamping, sewing, Drawing wildlife onto t-shirts, Scrapbooking – – – too much to mention and my house is bursting with craft supplies!

Problem is, I have my hands in too many pots at the same time – I’m looking for my passion.  The one thing that I’m truly good at and keeps my interest.  Until then, I’ll be a crafting maniac and make no apologies 😉  Thanks for stopping by!
