Reporting a breach

As part of Optiver’s Whistleblower Framework, the firm provides channels and procedures for the reporting of breaches of laws and regulations or misconduct with respect to the business activities, operations and practices of Optiver. The Whistleblower Framework aims to create an environment that encourages reports to be raised without fear of reprisal or retribution.

Regardless of the manner of escalation, all matters are carefully reviewed and investigated with the highest discretion and in line with our confidentiality protocols.

Misuse of Optiver’s name and brand

Alert on fraudulent activities

Please be aware of several fraudulent websites and third-party applications impersonating our firm. The schemes purport to provide online and mobile trading services on behalf of Optiver. We are not associated in any way with these fraudulent activities. Optiver is primarily an institutional market-making business and does not provide trading services to individuals.

Identifying misuse

Misuse of the Optiver name and brand may include, but is not limited to:

  • Unauthorised use of or any unauthorized association with our name.
  • Websites and apps that claim to represent Optiver without our permission.
  • False association or offering of services we do not provide.

We take any misuse of our name seriously, and it may result in legal action to protect our brand and reputation.
