What We Do

Operation Respect transforms schools, camps, and other youth-serving organizations into safer, more respectful, bully-free environments for children and youth through our social-emotional learning curriculum, professional training, and inspiring music. We provide adults the tools they need to help children and youth express their feelings constructively, resolve conflict peacefully, celebrate diversity, and engage with each other in a spirit of caring, compassion and cooperation.

Why We Do What We Do

We believe in the development of the whole child and that we must teach children the social-emotional skills they need to succeed in school and in life. We believe that each child, in each of our communities around the world deserves to live in a safe, respectful, compassionate community, free of bullying, hatred and violence.

Where We Do What We Do

Operation Respect works in and with schools, camps and communities around the world and has reached hundreds of thousands of children and youth from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Tokyo, Japan since it began in 2000. Large projects have been conducted in New York City, Israel, Mexico, Ukraine and Hong Kong and our free resources are used in thousands of schools every day.
