OQD is a non-profit organization committed to fostering a large collaborative effort between academia, industry, and government. Committed to radical transparency to help scale the talent pipeline and quantum computing technology.
Full Stack
OQD is unique in that the full stack, from bare metal to the end user, will be Open under Apache 2.0 allowing deep collaboration on hardware designs, control infrastructure, software, and APIs.
Quantum Computing
The OQD prototype full stack quantum computer was developed at the Institute for Quantum Computing and Perimeter Institute's Quantum Intelligence Lab by Crystal Senko, Rajibul Islam, and Roger Melko, and includes revolutionary trapped ion technology.
