We’re actively rethinking what a photography gallery can be. We produce exhibitions, long-term collaborative projects, publications, festivals, and university courses — onsite at our gallery in Liverpool and beyond.
Engagement
Open Eye Gallery is working towards co-authoring its programme with communities, voluntary organisations, photographers and artists. Many of our exhibitions, education projects and events are developed with our partners and associates. As much as possible, our staff, space, online channels and networks are open and free for people to use, making it easy to contribute to and co-author our programme.Education and Support
Together with our partners, Open Eye Gallery produces university courses in socially engaged photography, school programmes and activity packs, workshops and courses which explore techniques and issues with particular resonance for contemporary practitioners.Join our mailing list
