I like the recipe because I can prepare one big batch of cookies and then divide it to make different flavours: the kids like to decorate the basic sugar cookies; I like to add cranberries, walnuts and orange zest for drop cookies; and it makes great thumbprint cookies with a little jam in the dip. The dough freezes well so you can save it for a quick batch of cookies later. The recipes calls for a lot of sugar. I cut it back by at least a third. I’ve used coconut sugar in this recipe. Just came across your blog after searching for some zucchini allergy I might possibly contacted.. Ate 1 full zucchini yesterday around 5pm, and noticed some hives at about 2am.. Went to see a doc this morning, was given some medication, and was told to backtrack what I did for the past 72hrs.. Could be the food, the clothes or any other contact with foreign allergens.. 😅

I remember finding your blog while I was researching and researching for help for my now 17-going-on-18-year-old daughter for the full-blown eczema she had all over. So I definitely remember Fiala and communicating with you once or twice about what to feed our girls and what to kill the candida monster! Does Fiala eat “normally” now or must she watch her diet still?

My daughter, Sarah, ought to watch her diet but she doesn’t and she had another worse flare up just 2 years ago.

Your road trip “adventure” was scary!
