Bio

I am a Computer Scientist, specialised in AI (Prolog) and Machine Language (Assembly), a composer/remixer of Electronica / Trance music, and… a winter swimmer (since 1996). I am Greek but lived abroad for about 20 years (13 in England), and I am bilingual in English and Greek.

My Bio in Greek is here.

I created the first Greek Computer Game («Kombos 1»), the first HyperText Editor on a PC magazine floppy disk («Hyperion 1», 1990) before HTML (of today’s web pages) was invented. I also developed and released the first Translation Aid / Dictionary with hypertext and human speech («HyperLEX», 1991-1998):

A long time ago (1978-1983) I was a painter, cartoonist, and sculptor (with an exhibition at the «New Thought» Athens gallery in 1980) and a columnist (Music & Computer Science) in the magazines «PC Master», «Phenomenon», etc.

  • «Omadeon» is a non-existent word, chosen precisely because it is non-existent… except as my personal pseudonym, inspired by Team-Work or Team-Spirit, etc. (in Greek, «omada» is team or group).
