Hey NREF!
Buffalo Field Campaign would love to plug in with you – we need the help of NREF! to get the word out about Yellowstone capturing – and probably slaughtering – wild buffalo again this year.
There are currently 64 wild buffalo in Yellowstone’s Stephens Creek bison trap and the Park is considering sending all of them to slaughter. Here’s a link to our most recent Update from the Field:

… however since it went out on Thursday, more buffalo have been trapped, and the buffalo hazed through the RTR corridor to nowhere have already swam the Yellowstone and have been hazed three times. Madness for wild buffalo in Montana persists… so must our efforts to defend these sacred beings. The so-called hunt has also been wiping out a lot of buffalo – so far at least 83 have been killed by state and treaty hunters.
People can come join us on the front lines and/or contact Yellowstone’s acting superintendent, Colin Campbell, and tell him to not slaughter and set the buffalo free!
