This is one of my favourite makes, definately a lot of fun. It's made up of matchboxes and every one of them is filled with crafty goodies, only thing is the weather in Scotland at the moment is dismal with snow and ice, shocker eh... so no post has been getting in or out and these were just posted out to Karin today...so have fun opening the first ten at least Karin!!

Happy Birthday for last week moo, hope it was a good one in the end ;)

These are both for Karin, the first was her Birthday card, that ended up being a hanging because I liked it too much to have it as a card! It started off as card, distressed to within an inch of being anything, paper added to it, spritzed, inked, perfect pearls, lots of Tim Holtz stuff going on, then the main image of the bird is a napkin, I've started getting into napkin collage and just love it, over the glue on top of the bird I've put a little glitter and then once dry a little distress stickles, and you can see the rest. I loved making it, partly because its for such a good friend. It's not with Karin yet though, since we are severely snowed in here in Scotland and there is no post in or out!! But it will be with you soon Karin, promise ;) xx

Pregnancy is going well, 27 days till due date and no problems yet, just very tired. All set for Christmas and both of my boys birthdays in December too, including Nathan's 18th!! (where does the time go???)

Hiya folks, been a while since my last post, I've just been so busy with "real life" going on- I'm 6 months pregnant, due around 27th December, and lots of things going on around me too, so not had much time for crafting!

This is three birthday cards I made last month for various family members.... hopefully will be getting back into the routine of crafting every day, I do miss it. Looking to move house in the New Year though, so selling houses and buying houses and viewing houses and bla bla bla.....I've already started packing though, once I made up my mind this house has now become less personal if you know what I mean.....my head is out of here!!

Been trying to catch up with my blogging, I've not had a big crafting splurge or anything, just a very lazy blogging time....lol

This was a wall hanging and box I made for my Nana's birthday in April, it was really difficult to get a good picture of it since the main image is a transparency, getting the glare away but the colours right was hard, so this really is the best of a bad lot!! You get the idea though..... ;)

This is a wooden wall decoration that came blank, and I decorated it for some great friends who had a baby boy recently

Instead of a card, and because they are such good friends, I made a.....er.....a flip, flap or flop book, I don't remember which this is, I'm thinking flap....anyway, this is the front and the little plastic cover has been alcohol inked...

This is a Spring themed tag I made for a forum challenge set by Karin, also to incorporate wrinkle free distress a la Tim Holtz! I don't normally use pink in crafting at all, but I like how this turned out in the end.

I hope Spring is with you all, it certainly has been in Scotland for the past week, we had our first BBQ at the weekend, hopefully the first of many, weather allowing!!

I made this card for my mum for this year's mother's day, the little heart at the bottom is a magnet and is now on her fridge, and that's me in the pic LOL I used it mainly cos the colours went so well together!!
