The Book of Noha

About
“My writing is my sick, twisted, pathetic hobby” 🙂
My diary is my only private place.. since I lack privacy in my life..
It’s the place where I can be me.. since I have to always fake..
It’s the space where I can express my anger without fear..
It’s the freedom I’m missing in my life..
Its my voice of revolution.. rebellion against the world..
It’s where I can talk and listen to myself.. since nobody listens anymore.. “Bakalem Nafsi Ya3ni :D”
P.S. Everything written in this blog are my authentic thoughts.. My writings, stories and poems.. Unless I say otherwise 🙂
I’m a 27 years old mother of twins.
They are the true love of my life..
Coming to this world after long time of medications, shots and operations..
Coming to this world after so much pain and despair..
Coming to this world two months earlier than normal babies and this is what makes them extraordinary special..
I adore them.. they gave me a postpartum depression, but they are worth it..
I have my moments in life when I just want to get away from them out of pressure.. I guess every mother have been there; except that my husband sometimes takes what comes out of my mouth against me! :S
I’m a perfectionist, likely to focus on doing it right, on being the “perfect” partner.
I do strive for perfection in all things including the advice I give. I listen patiently to the tale and assess the situation fairly and truthfully.
I’m a good listener, who will always remember your favorites, likes and dislikes.
I’m a meticulous observer, has a good eye for details and a mind for analysis but a keen observer can also make for a finder of faults but don’t worry because I notice just as many flaws in myself.
I’m a pragmatist who likes everything to be in its place and at its best.
My main motivation is to be useful and efficient.
I’m a hard-worker, but usually don’t make my presence known.
I’m cautious in love, but a very rewarding partner when understood and appreciated.
I’m sensual, love being touched (in just the right way, of course)
I’m subtle, smart and sensitive and respect those traits in my friends’ personalities as well.
Sadly, I’m usually doing most of the giving and getting little in return.
I so much appreciate a good surprise (perfectly prepared, of course)
I’m outgoing; love partying, shopping and having fun.
I’m open-minded to change. I can be annoyingly critic!
I love reading, writing and drawing..
I appreciate a good piece of art.. a beautiful painting that captures my senses.. a sad piece of music that speaks to my soul.. a thoughtful writing that makes me wonder..
In short, anything that triggers the inner me.

How old are your babies? Boys, girls, one of each? I always wanted to be a twin so badly when I was growing up. 🙂
One of each 😀
I guess I’m so blessed.. They are 18 months old.. the apple of my eye *sigh*
Goodness! At this stage you probably feel more exhausted than blessed.
Hang in there as best you can – it will get better, I promise. Eventually they get potty trained and can feed and dress themselves, and you feel so much more free to enjoy them.
Just remember – this too shall pass, this too shall pass. 🙂
Saying a prayer for you!
Yes.. so exhausted 🙂
I hope it will get better soon 😀
Thanks DarcsFalcon for your prayers.. always keep me there 🙂
Hi!
Sad pieces of music move me too, especially the instrumental piano ones.

[…] would like to thank my new poetic friend Noha for recognizing me among some excellent bloggers. She has presented 12 of us with the Homecoming […]
I look forward to knowing you through your blog, Noha. I am a mother of 8-year old twins. The first two years are the hardest, but the big payoff is how they are there for each other after that. They are much easier than their older and younger sisters.
I am living in Jordan, have you lived in the Middle East? My husband is from here. I blog about Jordan too. https://joycefied.wordpress.com/2010/03/11/photo-index-of-almondjoycies-posts-on-jordan/

Dear Joyce, at last i got to know a mother of twins as well 🙂
My babies will be 2 years old in August, so that’s why you just made my day 🙂
I’m really glad to know that its gonna get easier by time..
I got used to their needs but my needs of rest and relaxation and some ‘me’ time are forlorn..
I just began sending them to an educational nursery in order to improve their talking abilities and hobbies.. as i feel they are kind of late in talking..
As for the middle east, I’m Egyptian.. So i lived all my life there 🙂
I only spent the last year in Qatar.. So i never actually departed the middle east area.
I never went to Jordan, but I know how beautiful that country is.. I do wish to go there one day.. Also I wish to have the opportunity to visit Dubai and Morroco؛
Wow, what a great site. When time is on my side, I can’t wait to read more, but wanted to send you a note that we have been here and find it amazing.
Beautiful story…enjoy those twins.
