Dear You,

Despite all the pain you caused me, I'm still very thankful that sometime in my life I was able to know you. I could have cursed you, wish you all the bad things in life but then I realized, it's not worth it. Thanks to Bo Sanchez's Heart Detox and I was able to apply The Gap. Hurtful words cannot be taken back once said and I don't want to suffer the burden of resentment for the rest of my life. Now I'm choosing to do good and just be thankful that we were having will not go on any further. It wasn't a healthy relationship after all. Neither of us is proud of our identities and we can't even express it in public. We've been talking for hours yet I can't even reveal to my roommate who I'm talking to. The fear of revelation is always there and I'm not comfortable with it anymore.As far as I can remember, that is not the kind of relationship that I ever wanted. I've been wanting something that is real and genuine and pure. Something that I can be proud to everybody because ever since I've always loved the teasing that I get from my friends. I've been praying for someone who is mature and responsible. Someone who has a clear goal in life. Someone who would inspire me to serve the Lord more. Maybe I was blinded by your acts of interest because it's been a long time since a man exclusively calls me. However, later did I know that it wasn't exclusive after all. You clearly have mastered your scheduling skills and somehow I found out that I'm not your priority. You will only call me because you are bored and got no one to talk to or perhaps your OTHER talkmate is already sleeping or not available. Unfortunately, I'm just your fallback girl and I don't want you to treat me that way anymore. Many times I tried to block you in my contact list but I just cant. Then came a time that you just stopped calling. To be honest, I wasn't ready for it. There's confusion, anger, worry all combined together. I'm hurt and I want vengeance. But then again, isn't it the very thing that I wished for? This is it, I could finally get rid of your presence. My absence in your life won't matter anymore and I know that you will just be fine. You will eventually get to know some other fallback girls but for me it's over. It isn't going to be that easy for sure but as the days pass by, I'm getting used to it and eventually I could finally say GOOD RIDDANCE! You will be fine, -niceurdaneta-

Dear You,

It's been a long time since I havent posted something in this blog, years perhaps but then again I'm too afraid to say to it upfront thus the reason I'm posting it here instead. Let's just say I've known you for quite some time, long enough that one time I used to like you even though I know it can't be possbile anymore. I've imagined scenarios of possible encounters wherein both of us together, happy, free and simply living the life. It's quite insane but I didn't care. I thought, I have had the harsh truth long time ago and could eventually move on but after that time the hope was still there because I thought you were not happy in your situation and you did not want it and you were just a victim of invevitable circumstance and a whole lot more. You've shared to me quite a number of rants, not so nice life you're having and that you're doomed and just have to live with it. At first I felt sorry for you and wished that I could something to at least make you realize that life is nice. That's why I'm keeping in touch. However, I think I've known enough.

I've come to realize that the confrontation I did to you years ago brought me far more lessons than accepting the truth that we can only be friends and no more than that. I thought I would want someone like you, a pleaser, a person who doesn't know how to get angry, a person who'd do everything to make me happy and at peace. Eventually it turned out that you can't decide on your own and have had just been living a life according to what other people want you to be. You pretend most of the time, pretend that everything is okay and that you would be okay yet deep inside it's the other way around. You will not fight for it because you don't want any trouble. I don't think I would want someone like that. I'd rather want to be with someone who would tell me the truth and nicely criticize my judgments. Someone who has his own ideas, someone who got the nerves to correct me when Im going out of my way.

But who am I to judge anyway. It's your life after all. I'm just thankful that among all people in your life, you chose to share your sentiments with me. I know that there are times wherein you have no one to share it with. I hope I gave you some amount of relief whenever you need one. It's hard to totally cut you out because I dont know if you still have someone to hang on. But I guess you would be taken care of because this time it's already different. There would come a time wherein I can no longer be available to listen to your sentiments but Im just hoping that before that time comes, you are already in your happy self. There is nothing else I would wish for you to have but pure and genuine bliss. As of this writing I'm still here but I dont know until when.

The Evolution of Pain in Me

I should have applied the phrase "the lesser you know, the better". Now Im hurt, that's for sure. But after a few minutes of pondering, I came to realize that keeping myself in pain won't do me any good. Maybe a few hours ago I was just shocked and dismayed a little bit of what I discovered. Basically because it was quite a human instinct to base our own definition of RIGHT to other people. We tend to forget that we are unique individuals having our own capacity to think and decide.

You chose to be in that path and I hope youre happy with it. This pain Im feeling should be ignored and shook off immediately. Afterall, everything was cleared a long time ago. That painful time when everything was revealed yet the choice was still not in my favor.

Maybe we are meant to be this way. I should be thankful that our communication is still open and I know that youre just a messenger away, just like the old times.

Im still your friend and will forever be. :)

Burning 600 Calories in 4 Minutes; Ideal For Super Busy People

Ever wished to burn as much calories as you can but doesn't have the luxury of time? Worry no more because at this moment you will be learning a simple workout routine that would only require a small portion of your rare vacant time.

I happened to learn this routine when I attended the special visit of the MILO-APEX team in the city to conduct a 2-days running clinic program for free. The group is being lead by Pinoy Biggest Loser coach Jim Saret and his wife coach Tonette "Toni" Dimaguila-Saret; coach Vincent "Vince" Buenaventura and coach Madel Galvez. I learned a lot during the training and was amazed that I was able to finish the hard core challenge. If you happen to visit Davao City's People's Park, then you will have an idea how big is its running track. It isn't that large though but for an amateur runner like me, completing two laps would be very hard. How much more if the entire lap would be divided into four posts wherein you will do an exercise before continuing your run. The exercises (JUMPING JACK, SQUAT, PUSH UP and LUNGES) on each post with one of the coaches. Each exercises will have 21 counts on the first lap, 15 counts on the second and 9 counts on the last one. For advance runners, they will have an additional lap with 5 counts on each exercises.

Accordingly, the entire activity is similar to running a 10k mileage but within a lesser amount of time. I wasn't able to take note of my time though but for the record, I wasn't able to finish a 10k run in my entire amateur running career. The entire activity focused on the proper way of running and avoiding unnecessary muscle injuries.

Now for the much awaited workout that allows you to burn 600 calories in the span of 4 minutes, you just have to remember 4 basic exercises; JUMPING JACK, SQUAT, PUSH UP and LUNGES. You just have to do all these exercises at 10 counts each, for the lunges it would be 10 counts on each leg and have as many cycles as you can in 4 minutes. Aim at least 4-5 cycles to burn as many calories as you can. Trust me it isn't that easy.

As of this writing, I can only finish two cycles but I'm trying my best to increase the cycle little by little. It was totally an unforgettable experience. It was a once in lifetime opportunity to learn those things from them and I'm very thankful I was able to take part of it.

Running is fun, thus the term FUN RUN, but it should also come along with proper or healthy way of running thus making it FUN and HEALTHY RUN. -niceurdaneta-

Yes, you. This letter is definitely for you. Right now I'm struggling with words, because to be honest, I really don't know what to say. It's been hours of clicking F5 and hoping that the small red Facebook notification would not be another game invites that I used to receive. I'm hoping that this time around it would be something worth opening. However, I even can't define what's worth opening nor knowing where will this post lead to. This is just another rare moment of wanting to shout out a lot of things but can't find the right words for it. This post is getting pointless. So I'd better end it up.
