Neko Rukia

Xena passed away on 9th of March with Lung complication. Her energy and adventurous spirit will be greatly missed.

Sorry for my long silence. Let me give you some updates:

Recently Zinger noticed the lack of gingivitis improvement from my daily dental treats so she decided to take me and Sophia to a different vet - one that was cleaner and closer to home. For the most part they were just like the other vet, but they had private exam room and this weird hospital smell in the air. And then they took my blood while I was there, grrrrr. I hated needles!

Two days latert, Zinger took me back to the vet place again. This time she starved me without giving me any breakfast, brought just me and not Sophia. And then she just dropped me off and... she took off! What the... The next thing I knew, some people did something to me, put me asleep, and when I woke up I had this weird pain in my mouth and I was missing two teeth!! In an unfamiliar territory, starving and in pain, I was so angry!!

Eventually Zinger picked me up and brought me home. She also fed me some can food, but that didn't make me less grumpy. I had can food and some meds for about a week, and now I'm eating those hard, dry food again. She also had been attempting to stick toothbrush into my mouth lately. What a weirdo.

But my gingivitis is getting better and I no longer have to deal with tooth ache. So I guess all is well after all...

It's finally spring! *Stretch* Spring means no more white stuff on the ground and Zinger is more willing to open the window and let fresh air flow in. Although I have been extremely disappointed with Zinger's lack of availability - she's always either sleeping or not home. My 2 minute massage every morning is not at all near my minimum demand. When Zinger is home and it's sunny out, she often let us onto the porch. Now Zinger just needs to be home more often...

Hi everyone, long time no post. Today is my kiddo's 2 year old birthday. It's hard to believe they are two already, although Sophia is almost as big as me now. I wish all other kiddo's are doing well out there and have their own celebration today too.

I'm hoping Zinger will be able to spend some time with us on the porch sometimes, but she seems busy all the time lately. At one point she was gone for a week and came back smelling like cigarette. Nate had to come in to keep us company.

Sorry for the late christmas greeting. My excuse is... too lazy? Nah that would affect my public image. So thus, no excuse. Below is the greeting card Zinger and I created together. The only complaint I have is that Zinger tried to force use to wear those weird red thingy on the head during the photo shots. Doesn't she understand that those weird thing seriously uglified our adorable look?
