Let's Be Honest
Let's be honest...I have neglected this blog for over a year. I think about it all the time and how I need to get it caught up but the more time that goes by the harder it is to think about catching up. So, I don't want to start from this point on because I want to remember what we did. The past year has been busy and hard. It was probably one of our toughest years also and I just am starting to feel like we are on a better track. I don't have time to write about all that we did, but I still want to share pictures so that is what I am going to do. I will just share pictures from the month that it happened in and keep the writing to the minimal. After that I am hoping to get back on track. This blog was created to keep track of our life so my boys will have something to look back on as they get older. I know I love to look back and remember. So, wish me luck as I try to get all caught up!

September
School has been in full swing now and it is going really well for everyone. Connor made a new friend named Hudson and he lives in our neighborhood. This has made is transition back into school so much smoother.
I took this picture while sitting in car pool one day and it made me realize just how big Kyle is getting!
I love that my big middle schooler still wants to snuggle with me.
We had a week off from school this month so we took some time to do some day things. We went to Top Golf one day.
Then we went to the mall to check out the awesome lego display.
We also drove to Tennessee to hang out a cool park where they release water and people can white water raft on the river. When it isn't released you can do a ton of exploring.
Football is going well in the sense that Owen is really enjoying it and making some great friends. They haven't won a game yet or even scored a touchdown which makes it painful to watch, but oh well! He did break his finger but managed to continue to play.

Busy August!
August is always super busy! Birthdays, anniversary and the start of school. We kicked off the month by celebrating my sister turning 40. We went to the Dry Bar to get our hair done and then headed out to dinner.
We finished up the summer in Waumba and our western theme. I am pretty lucky that I love my job and the girls I work with.
No more homeschool (as that was a big mistake) and both of them start middle school. Neither of them have ever had a locker so we made sure to practice before the first day.
After the year we had with Connor and school we were all a little nervous about the first day and if he would even get on the bus. He was hesitant at first, but got on with no problems. The second day didn't go as smooth and I ended up dragging him into school while wearing my pj's. After that he was all good and is loving 2nd grade!
Kyle started Georgia Pre-K and goes 5 days a week, all day. He was nervous the first day but he came home all smiles!
These two were up bright and early and ready to walk to school. Day one was good, except for some minor locker problems, but we went after school to work it out and after that it was smooth sailing.
Next up was celebrating Kyle's 5th birthday. Hard to believe that my baby is 5! His brothers played with him at Monkey Joes and then we headed back to our house for a family party.
When you don't have candles you make due with what you do have! I don't even know why we had those candles?
The tradition continues, but this year it was a little later. Between the start of school and I was sick we had to delay our celebration. We drove over to my parents house to celebrate.
Then is was Kyle's actual birthday which meant more celebrating!
Yup, this pretty much sums up Kyle and his craziness. He makes us laugh everyday!
I spent the day with my sister and her friends at the wineries to celebrate her 40th. It was a gorgeous day and so much fun!
Next up was Owen's birthday! The big 11! He got Georgia football tickets and a penny board.
He also inviting some of his new friends from football and school over for some fun in the backyard.
We finished up the month with a family outing to the Braves vs. Yankee game.
